"Shit! I really hate this. This is all the dwarf's fault. If I didn't make that beat with him!"

Attack the goblin, and end my turn

OOC:

Elf:"Seriously trying to kill me aren't you?"
Me: Stop crying or I will make you commit suicide.
Elf: "That..that..is," he utters before he starts to cry.

You easily cut down the orc with your mighty short blade. The Elf sighs in relief that he lives another day.

Rodzaju: I will take that bloody Orc's head off with my axe!
"That elf has a lot to answer for...."
Then, assuming that the Orc dies, North 4, WITHOUT opening the door

What's with the wobbly editing?
avatar
PenutBrittle: Having some real issues with the forum software, but I think I have it licked. Sorry about that.

Regardless, you swing at the orc, nice and mad. The smelly orc dodges once, but you leap forward and cut directly through his middle. The orc keels over, and promptly dies.

You move north and pause at the door.
OOC: It was my editing I was talking about.
I had to take 4 tries to get the bolding right!!
;-}

OOC (again, or is that still?) I've got be up for work in 4 hours, so I'll catch up in the morning.

Oh, and End of turn!
The barbarian reassures himself, "Curiosity killed the cat, not the barbarian!"

OOC: Sorry for all the questions, but the door is east 2, south 2, right? It says you can't move in diagonals, but you can move in multiple directions, right? I hope I got this right...

Move east 2, south 2, search current room for treasure then open the door. End turn.

You walk over to the hole and clear away the debris. Lucky you! You've found 25 gold. You peer out into the hall, but you can't see too much from where you're standing. It looks safe.

Also, you can move whatever directions you want, in whatever order, but you can only take steps in the cardinal directions. So you did exactly the right thing.

The sounds of battle echo from deep within the maze...

"adventure is it's own reward, they say. *sigh* I should have stayed in the library... "

the wizard takes a step west, and gingerly nudges open the door to reveal what horrors lie beyond.

"... Ready or not... " he whispers to himself.

Peeking round the heavy door frame, you come face to face with a big ugly orc entering from the opposite door. He shouts and points at you, preparing to charge!

The wizard reaches for his mighty Sword of Orc Slaying, discovering instead the dagger he used to cut his breakfast sausage tucked in his belt. Cursing his lack of planning, the absence of the Barbarian to do his dirty work, and that flaggon of Elvish wine last night, he quickly takes two steps north towards the foe, with Fire of Wrath flying from his fingertips...

End turn

OOC: Don't you usually re-roll movment dice each turn? Not that I'm likely to not get three...

As the flames leave your fingertips, they envelope the orc and, with one last growl, it collapses into a pile of ashes.

(I did repost the movement, but I think the wonky editing made it disappear from my post. The movement scores will always be listed in the OP, though. You had a 5 at any rate.)

I'll do new movement scores and post a new map within the next half hour, I need to reboot my computer first.
No monsters, so Round 3 begins right away.

Movement Rolls
stoicsentry: 7
Rodzaju: 5
MrWilli: 8
RealWeaponX : 11

South, 1
You bravely stride through the door, and peer to your right. Dead end. But suddenly a howl catches your attention; you turn to your left and see a nasty orc braced against a doorway at the end of the dank hall.

In the distance, you can hear vague dwarvish cursing.

The barbarian dashes towards the monster and swings his mighty weapon!

(Please let me know if I've got this right)

East 5; attack.
I will Open the door....
The wizard glances around hastily for signs of traps or secret passages...
