Xoanon: I wish you had Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines for sale GOG.
Ditto to that. I did see it on Impluse but there is DRM there and I just don't like DRM.
For those wanting some other DRM free games, you could try Amnesia: The Dark Descent from the developers 'Frictional Games Store' the top link at http://www.amnesiagame.com/#buy there is 75% off for Halloween and you can get the Penumbra: Collection of games for what appears to be $2.99 seems you get 40% off for buying them together and the 40% off seems to be on top of Halloween bundle prices.

I can't vouch for what these games are like I just heard about them from forums here. Also they have windows, mac and linux versions which I like.

Now GOG you just need to get some newer games and maybe some indie ones as well, as I'm starting to buy more games from small developers and dotemu for newer games. I'd definitely prefer GOG over dotemu if I had the choice.

Still I bought a few more games from GOG in this promo, I had most, now have all but 3 and one of them shadow grounds I'd already picked up from the last humble indie bundle, so while I'm tempted to buy it to support GOG I can't justify it, spent too much money this week already.
Many thanks to GOG. Just bought Gabriel Knight - Sins of the Father (to go with my physical copies of GK 2 & 3) which I have been meaning to get for some time. Also bought the two Phantasmagorias. I bought Sanitarium on a Promo when I first joined GOG a couple of months ago and can highly recommend it. I am busy with organising my daughter's wedding in November so won't get a chance to play the new buys soon but they will something to look forward to to when things settle down.

Oh, but they could give you so many new ideas about the wedding. Well, at least you have Sanitarium to go on :)
Don't pass on Realms of the Haunting. Controls will seem a little wonky for about the 1st hour but then you won't think twice about them. Although graphics are a bit dated, the story is sooo good that you won't care. This game is a mix of all the genres; it has everything. And don't put it on the back burner of games you'll play later. you'll wish you hadn't. Very immersive and addicting.

Sanitarium is also very good, scary but kind of short. Also recommend it as a game everyone should play at least once in their life.

Which is the best Gabriel Knight game if you're only going to buy one??? I think I played the 3rd one and it wasn't that great.

Followed VERY CLOSE by the second.

I didn't really like the third one, though.
I have a Dawn of War II STEAM code I'd like to trade for Realms of the Haunting + Scratches ( the 2 remaining games on my wishlist, for this sale anyway xD). Can somebody help me ? =)

GK1 is a great game. I think it's the best adventure game I've ever played.

Ended up going for Gabriel Knight 1 and Ghost Master and bunged the other two I'd go for in my wishlist. Much appreciated putting these up GoG and the forums for helping me spot more I'd likely enjoy!

wizall: Gabe Knights really worth it? I'm going through Broken Sword 1 now, and it's...eh, okay.
GK 1 is one of the best good old Point n Clicks out there. Never had the chance to play it in its time.I played it for the first time last year and yet was simply amazed by it!

If you buy one game in this promo, buy Gabriel Knight 1!
Sanitarium is one of the best and CREEPIEST games I've ever played. The atmosphere of it is just so damn creepy throughout the game and it's different areas. Especially the town with all the "children" and what they did/become.

The Gabriel Knight series is a classic. It's amazing how each one was so vastly different form the other.

GK 1 is a classic point and click styl elike many early 90's games, GK2 is a FMV style adventure, and GK3 moves into a 3d game world.

I found them all to be fun, GK1's story ist he most memorable though.
