Oh dear, another multiplayer online game as bonus? Disappointing indeed! :(

Hooray! A Steam-only multiplayer game. Must be the worst bonus ever (maybe except for the $10 ingame coupons for some free-to-play games they gave away in the past).

If this were the first bonus game or something, I wouldn't care.. but it requiring 25k bundles sold is a huge waste. It's going to be much harder for us to reach any new bonus goals at this point (when they're added).

For a Be Mine, I think the price and no tiers thing is great.. but everything else is kind of lacking so far.

Is the bundle worth the money just for Shufflepuck Cantina Deluxe and The Body Changer?

Haven't tried The Body Changer, but Shufflepuck is worth a dollar.

Is the desura client mandatory like steam or can I just download the games directly and use the games offline like with gog or humblebundlestore?

The majority of games on Desura can be either downloaded through the client and run from there or downloaded from the website and run as standalone. There is a very small minority - probably a single-digit number of games - that can only be run through the client.

There are other games that do require Steam on Desura though. These offer no download from the Desura website, and when you try to run them through the client, it will simply display the Steam key. These games have "Requires Steam to run" under the price on the storefront page.

And there are others still that have their own DRM system (like Zigfrak), where it is not mentioned on the storefront page.

This isn't a great bundle which is probably why the minimum is low. Mechanically Shufflepuck Cantina is fine, but keep in mind that it is another phone/tablet port and I see lots of complaints about the required "grinding".

Thanks, its a lot more than what I could find with google and the site itself. They really need to make a faq for things like this. Anyhow, turns out I didn't need desura to get the games I wanted due to being downloadable on the groupees.com key link.

You don't need the Desura client to activate and play your games. If you have a Desura key, create a Desura account if you haven't in its site and then use the next link to activate a game with your key, then go to that game's page in the Desura site and you can download the latest version of that game as an standalone installer:

Although, Desura also sells games that requires Steam only, in that case you can't download an installer. But these games with this requirement are very few on Desura. If you have a Desura key, then most likely that game also has its own installer.

And the new bonus is Mirage FR - Midas's Hand EP @ 27500 bundles. It was also the last unachieved bonus on Retro Groupees 2. Man, do those bonuses suck or what?

Yeah, I hope we unlock it so it doesn't have to be a repeated bonus goal in other bundles.. at this point I feel like Groupees is trolling us.

Groupees has unachieved bonuses? I thought they'd always give you the bonus anyway, in the end ... :)
