If you can have these converted to .avi, then please do and send them to me. I'll have FRAPS ready for the next event.

You have to play the .dem files and record them with something like FRAPs while replaying them.

There's a console command to save the demo as an .avi file, or atleast TF2Wiki says there is.
Startmovie <filename> avi

I wouldn't do that as that creates an entire folder of frames and not an actual video file.
What you need to do is type in:
host_framerate 30
startmovie movie1 avi
playdemo namehere
That should work.
It works, I just can't get it recognise Xvid so that means the video will be uncompressed. Could someone else do it :P
