The "Pay What You Want" can be purchased from GOG.com starting now until 01:00 AM GMT on the 18th of October, 2012.

Set your own fair price for the classic Divine Divinity, where you become the chosen one, destined to fulfil an ancient prophecy and save the Seven Races of Rivellon. In this extensive, challenging, and very addictive game you will encounter many different enemies and a great variety of items, NPCs, and quests.

The top 10% of our most generous users will also grant themselves an early access to the upcoming Divinity 2: Developer's Cut.The Developer's Cut, which is the ultimate edition of the game, comes with Divinity II and the expansion Divinity II: Flames of Vengeance, as well as a special developer's mode and extra goodies, will be available on PC on the 18th of October, 2012, but if you buy it here you will get to play it a day earlier than everyone else! The "Director's Cut" subtitle also means, that you'll have the unique opportunity to experience the game just as the developers did: with optional access to developer console you'll feel like the god of the realm.

But that's not all! All of the games come with an extensive amount of goodies--especially Divinity 2: Developer's Cut features a crazy amount of bonus materials (all of which you can access as soon as you finalize your purchase). To make things even more interesting, Larian Games told us that as the sales progress, they will be releasing some very special announcements and interesting videos. Heard enough? trebor8273: seems of but have all these any how. is divinity 2 the same version that steam have?
No, Divinity 2: Developer's Cut wasn't released yet. It's coming to the PC on the 18th of October, 2012. But if you buy it through our "Pay What You Want", you'll get to play it a day early.

K_1269: I'm new to the concept, so how does beat the average price works, does it refer to the time of purchase or the total once all purchases are in? Also, what would a decent price for the bundle be so that gog still makes a profit, or at least not a loss?
avatar
TheEnigmaticT: It refers to the price right then. if it goes up later, you're fine.
Thanks, will buy it then, really nice promo, had these on my wishlist for quite some time :)
i bet the mysterious announcement is the fact that the new old-school Divinity will be released on GOG, too.
avatar
JMich: So, if I pay more than $9.99, I get Divinity II, and if I am in the top 10%, I get to play it one day earlier?
Not quite. If you're in the top supporter's bracket (top 10%) you get Divinity II: DC, and you will get it a day earlier. That may need revising. Hm.

Barefoot_Monkey: What happens if you pay high but already have Divine/Beyond?
You get gift codes.

EDIT: Actually, you get one gift code.

Kunovski: aaargh, I already have the first two Divinities on GOG and only want the "II"... what to do?
Good question, also for me ;-) Divinity will cost 20$. You can see the sale as an 50% off promo and pay 10$ or maybe a special 75$ and pay 5$.

Edit: Stop! I read we get gift codes. Thought it would be just add Divinity II. To gog: Is there an option to skip the gift codes and just pay for Divinity II? I know I don't need to give away the codes, but I feel guilty just getting them while only paying for Divinity II.

Edit2: Maybe I should post after I checked the sale in detail. So, we get Divinity II only if we pay above 12$. With my backlog and need to play Beyond Divinity first it's maybe better to wait then for regular sale. Phew, Money saved

I got Divine Divinity added to my gift list with a code... I assume it will be the same for beyond (which I did not had before on GOG)

You may gift them.

TheEnigmaticT: Gift/trade someone the other two games?
You should block that. Or do you want 1$ copies for trading in circulation?

Just jumping in to say I LOVE the idea of pay-what-you-want bundles on gog.com and hope to see more in the future, but won't be buying this bundle because I'm not that interested in the games available.

Awesome to see this happening though.
I don't understand this. This means that I can buy this bundle for 12$ now and that's the price for three games, but in the end I may only get two games if more than 10% people pay more than 12$?

I don't need first two games, as I already have them, and if I want to pay 20$ (I suspect this will be the price for a bundle in the end) for Divinity II i'll just buy it after the release.

You get the games you bought based off of the averages at that moment, regardless of how the average changes later.

When you buy the game, you buy the game.

GOG isn't Lord Vader, they can't alter the deal afterwards ;-).
