okay, Taleroth is Damnation in disguise.
Wait, is it possible to vote for yourself? I say vig should shoot Taleroth, it's safer than lynching.

Taleroth: I call bluff.

Unvote Orryyrro, vote Taleroth

Snip...

Rodzaju: WTF???

This is a game that rewards patience.
If you want to push it along, there are ways to do that (But often you won't be thanked for it).
Voting for yourself is universally a bad idea.
I would assume it's a 'buggered up the quoting' post since that vote is identical to jesskitten's.

It IS possible, but it's stupid.

How do you know there is a vig in the game?
Even if there is a vig, this is a scummy suggestion.
You want him dead, but don't want to take responsibility for voting him...

Robbeasy: nmillar - a little quiet, which is unlike his usual way of playing, but said nothing of any suspicion yet. Town.
You're right there; I've been concentrating on Mafia #4 a bit too much, but since that's about to go to night, I can spend a bit more time here!
The "Everything's got a moral, if only you can find it" votecount

Taleroth - 4 - Taleroth, jesskitten, Orryyrro, TwilightBard
Orryyrro - 2 - ViolatorX, QuadrAlien
Rodzaju - 2 - nmillar, Robbeasy
QuadrAlien - 1 - Vitek
Robbeasy - 1 - Rodzaju

Not voting: Typhoon45, fexen

With 12 alive, it takes 7 to lynch. It's four and a half days before sunset.
It's not a post bug. Chances are that a townie dies tonight. If it's me, so be it. I don't trust the "reads," but at least I'm honest with my reasons.

I think there is a big chance that town got a vigilante. I'm not saying to kill him because I don't want to take responsibility, I don't want to let Jester win and I want to get rid of Taleroth, because I think he's harmful for town.
If Taleroth is a jester, I'll eat my hat. I think that he's just Mafia capitalizing on people's fears by suggesting that he wants to be lynched (so they'll back off, and give him a night phase).

Vote Taleroth
Lynching ends day phase? If yes I think we should wait a little before getting a final vote.
I see one course of action here. I have 5 votes to be lynched. We need 7. If I unvote myself, then we get two more, I'll have 6. A final re-vote from myself will prove my innocence, or my jesterdom, by lynching.

And I will give you my reads then.
Unvote Taleroth

Just two more votes.

If you're going to claim, the time is now.
I think he's a newbie who has found the game a little slow for his tastes.
I think he just wants to die, rather than drop out.
I think he is town.
If he was mafia, he would be more invested....
I won't vote for him yet, because I'm hoping he will calm down a bit, realise he's been a bit of a dick & rejoin the game.
I don't like this. That isn't a Mafia play in the least. Mine was a pressure vote but besides being unnecessarily antagonistic, there's been nothing that warrants a lynch. Although he refuses to give his individual reads on people, it seems.

And Rod brings up an interesting point. But I'm going to change my vote (again) based on something else, as I just saw this avenue to pursue and Tale's self-vote there is rapidly running the wagon and I want to get this out there first.

fexen: Why day ending without a lynch is a wrong option? There is bigger chance of lynching a townie than lynching a mafia at this moment. Saying that town loses a chance to lynch a scum doesn't convince me, I guess first day lynch is too risky.

I still don't believe that Rob is miller as he said but I would say that he's not mafia. Claiming a miller role would make mafia less likely to target him.
@fexen: Firstly, I think that is a scum pretending to be townie line of thinking, because, using that logic, we should never lynch anyone until there are equal/more scum than town (so there's a bigger chance of lynching them) at which point the game is over. You're looking at the numbers and ignoring the fact that we aren't picking people at random to lynch (eventually anyway - though especially at the start of the game we may be picking at small, random things to interrogate others on).

Secondly, you're saying Robb is NOT a miller but NOT mafia either? That's controversial. He can't be jester because he's trying his darndest to persuade people not to lynch him. What is he then? You think he's a stronger power role then because vanilla townies have not much of a reason to play to avoid the Mafia NK. Because a townie is likely going to die to the NK and it should be a vanilla townie, not a power role. But then why would he falseclaim as a stronger power role though? It will cause everyone to not trust him in the end if he has to, say, counterclaim a Mafia falseclaim.

I can't see a line of reasoning there. What I do see is that you're power-role-hunting, because if you don't believe he's miller I don't see how one can't possibly think he's scum.. unless you know the scum roster.

So there's hopefully no quick lynch for now,
unvote Taleroth, Vote fexen

Also, generally vigs only work at night, unless someone has a day vig role. But yes, lynching ends day phase.
if Taleroth doesn't want to play they should ask for a replacement as opposed to trying to get themself lynched, so my vote stands for now.
