Exactly who are you referring to when you say "he" might have thought Flub knew more?

Same thing I had in mind when ship models started to be thrown around. I listed what everyone who claimed said with the initial intent of making assumptions about this, but then refrained in order to not draw too much attention on potential power roles.

Do you believe going in this direction (discussing models after pointing out they may hint at power roles) is a good idea or do you think everyone has this figured out already, so it's not that big of a deal? Do you think asking for models would be a good idea?

I'm doing what I think is correct to find scum - analyse the bandwagon, come up with theories, apply pressure where I deem necessary. To come under suspicion for such is what I find laughable. It can only help mafia and hinder town to dismiss such methods.

I hopefully will have time to come up with some reads on everyone later today - taking the kids out now !!

I think discussing or revealing ship models is a bad idea. We don't want to help the scum identify the town's power roles. Like I said before, my guess is that ship models mean something. I myself don't know the logic, but I believe there is one. I felt I had to say that much in post #617 to stop people from revealing their models. I strongly recommend we avoid analysing the partial information available or offer any more information.

All the mafia managed to hit so far is a vanilla. Let them stew with the little information they have. Hopefully, they'll hit nothing better next night.

OK, trying to steal a few minutes on a Sunday morning to add some thoughts. Apologies ahead of time if this is less organized and below my usual par.

Bottom line is that we're in trouble.

HijacK makes some good points about the variety and squaring-up of combatants. Lots of noise and hot air, and not everyone can be scum. Much of this must be counter-productive.

My own reads have no fewer than four of you firmly pushed onto the "leaning scum" list, with no one particular leading candidate. If a wagon formed on any of those four, with no new information, I'd probably jump on any one of them and hope for the best, and that's not good. I think I could make reasonably convincing, annotated arguments in favor of lynching any one of those four, and that's not good either, because that means there are some townies doing all the wrong things. Can't all be scum.

Which brings me to dedo. He's placed the day's first "real" vote for Vitek... and Vitek isn't one of my four. I have dedo himself leaning town, so I pay close attention to his thoughts, but sorry dude... I just don't think I can get on board this one. I view much of what Vitek has contributed as being generally sensible - including some critique of your stuff, dedo. I feel like this is a bit... damn, what is the acryonym? OMGUS? Anyway, it's a bit "you criticized me, so you must be scum". If anything, I give Vitek some real town points for noticing not one, but two things that I noticed and nobody else seems to care. Not giving Vitek a free pass as a townie for the rest of the game - he's just not in my top four.

Day 1 went so well and now we are back to running in circles. Scum are laughing at us. Yes, I just tightened my cards to my chest in this post and went vague on purpose. I'm honestly not sure where to go from here . Have everyone give their #1 candidate with reasoning? Like I said, that would be tough for me. I would rather we slow down and take time to get it right, like we did yesterday. But we need something new to jar loose.

I recommend you do exactly the opposite. If you have a list of four suspects, share it with explanations. If you have two things you noticed that are of consequence (and do not reveal roles or other secret information), share them. Keeping things to yourself helps the mafia.

I actually intended to add just that at the end of my longer-than-the-world post - that's it's not an OMGUS post because that would be just silly. I left it out in the end because I noted that Vitek's push towards me and his demands on "evidence" made me go through the entire thread a couple of times in order to re-build my notes. In the process and with everything new said and done I looked at things from another perspective and thit is the result.

It's OK if what I wrote isn't enough for you or someone else to consider the scenario but at the moment this is what I find the most interesting and if we don't have some of them earth-shattering revelations I'm going to stick with it.

Your posts have been this way since the beginning of the Day and it doesn't help much. You can't always expect the magical adalia slip to find scum. Tell us what your suspicions are so we can discuss.
That being said, I am somewhat more confused myself than I was at the beginning of the Day, for a couple of reasons. I'll do a general thoughts post later in hopes of sorting some things out.

By the way I just realized Vitek said he'll be out of town for the weekend, so if others neglected this as well and I managed make you question his alignment, please refrain from voting on him until he makes an appearance.

I will post a list and reason for my reads on everyone tonight when I have more time online. I am only on for a few minutes now. (I am actually getting out of the house today and doing fun things. I have already spent the morning out in the fresh air and will be leaving again in a few .. and woohoo being out has nothing to do with work and Mom is being watched over by Dad!!)

As for Robs posts about flub. I did not see anything that flub might have found on rob but that does not mean Rob did not see it that way. Or even any scum seeing flubs post as he knew something and he was keeping it close to his chest for the right time to reveal it. I think that one comment can easily put a target on you from the mafia if they think you are hinting at something in their direction.

I concur Darko... My play overall on day 2 has not been up to par. Getting a little frustrated. I think perhaps I will give complete reads on everybody tonight after kids go to bed.

What are you getting frustrated at or over?
