On that note, Vice-Mayor seems the weirder of the roles so far to me. First it's only shown any presence in GoJays this late in the game, and secondly, why the americanized wording?

From a thematic/story-telling stance, GoJays has the most suspicious role. According to wikipedia they are the succesor's to a mayor in the event of his death, so the vice-mayor would have a motive to kill the mayor in order to gain power

I don't think we should read too much into the Vice vs. Deputy thing, I mean for all we know Zchinque might be using American English. I mean you yourself spelled Americanised with a Z, that is an Americanised spelling. :P
Anyway, considering there was a mafia banker it's not too far fetched that the deputy mayor might be in the mafia.

Indeed... I got all of his left-over paperwork and a whole troubled town to look over. Sweet deal for me. And eyeball, I'm pretty sure I'm not corrupt, but that's what they all say, right? Well, I didn't think there'd be this much commotion over my job, but anyway, that's my role, and I'm going to do all I can to help us reclaim the town.

Relax, I'm still kind of more suspicious of Dominic. The role of teenager is a bit odd as well.

GoJays posts today all rub me the wrong way. He starts off opening himself up as a candidate for lynching to supposedly prove his innocence, then states in post 642 that he doesn't really want to be lynched and we shouldnt be too hasty.

He has also become much more concerned recently about roleplaying his role than he has for the rest of the game. This is a pattern of behavior that Gamerager and Titanium also followed.

I'm not trying to prove my innocence. I told you, I don't think it can be done at this point. I'm simply saying it may help if I just got lynched - it's a risky play, but again, lynching me tomorrow based on suspicions today would be disatrous. I mean, if we lynch say... eyeball and Dominic gets whacked in the night (no way they'd get rid of a soft target like me), who would you vote for? Me, right? And we'd lose. Therefore if you really think I'm mafia then just vote for me NOW. That's all I'm saying - proving my innocence is pointless.

As for my roleplaying... just wanted to clarify that I've consistantly mentioned my work in the town hall, especially having access to town records and being a little responsible for watching the town and whatnot.
