Flawless victory! I loled

Anyway, back to the game, with regards to GameRager's role, do we know when this game is meant to be set historically? And if so, is it meant to be historically accurate? What I mean is, is it plausible that he is a radio dj/broadcaster? Or has he made it up on the spot without much thought?

I don't think there is, at least no indication was given. I think he may be making up his role, with his story becoming more elaborate with each passing post. I think he's trying a little TOO hard to convince people he has a role to play in Gogville that it's a little suspicious. I don't think anyone's defended themselves to the point of what he's doing.

He is indeed hinting quite strongly to his role in rapid succession, and his role seems to be one of a very busy work load, which could potentially lead to him being a very stressed person. And he doesn't seem stressed, so he is either lying or just insanely interested in selling and playing music.

But what about you, GoJays2025?! I remember no hints towards your role!
I really hope GameRager is mafia; he seems to have made himself number one suspect in most people's eyes!

I hope we live in an age of decadence (more writing material that rhymes with boobies). And considering this town is loosing it's official / crucial cadre at the rate of one per night, it's almost certainly a time of depression, which goes well with the time of the prohibition in the states in the 1920 to 1933, which in turn would explain the current infestation of mafia members in town. Also, seeing as we can't throw a stone without hitting a drunkard, the prohibition seems most likely.

I'm surprised there are still people with jobs. For obviously Titanium must be right with this sort of argumentation? So let's who I hit with this stone.

*throws a stone*
Ow!

You did that on purpose, didn't you?

*hiccup* *buurp*

GameRager: 1. You're forgetting weather reports and such for the townsfolk, or if people call in to request songs.
avatar
Damnation: The weather thing does not sound like a task for a radio DJ, but more for a general radio host, there's quite a difference.

And accepting requests is hardly a broadcasting of information, now is it?
In a small town there's obviously a need for a local weather report and forecast every now and then. Heck, there are so many radio stations that do it that it's pretty much a given when running a station of any size with a live audience.

And calling in to request songs is broadcasting information when you hand out little tidbits of trivia with each song request....sort of like a little something extra being given back to the town....like did you know Elvis Presley was a Pastafarian in his youth? Well NOW YOU KNOW! Here's Rager with the weather!.........forecast for tonight is a tense storm of townie indecision as the day nears closer to an end. Now back to the tunes with Na na na na, na na na na, HEY HEY HEY....GOOD-BYE!

:)
Gah, were back to ten hours with no activity.

Ok, it seems to me that GameRager is pushing unnaturally hard about his job and the way hes trying to pile on details that most likely don't exist to give more credence to his story screams mafia imo

Vote GameRager
I think you're probably right...

I'm reasonably confidant about this but I'll hold off voting a little while longer just to avoid any kind of rush.
Return of the votecount

nmillar - 2 - Vitek, GameRager
Titanium - 2 - nmillar, Damnation
GameRager - 2 - Titanium, Nazarush

With 9 alive it takes 5 to lynch.

Deadline is in 5 days, 17 hours, and 30 minutes.
As much as GameRager might seem to overprotect himself, it could be that he is telling the truth and the mafia are now jumping onto him in hope of him being an easy kill in this stalemate?

Yeah, that's what I thought too. The mafia (Titanium / Nazarush) could have jumped on the votes for me and virtually eliminated me, but when it's been revealed that I'm an innocent victim then it would prove my accusations are correct and spell game over for them. Jumping on GameRager is the "safe" option for them. If he's innocent, then I (and Damnation to some extend) would still be suspects.

I think eyeball226 is attempting to throw people off the scent with his latest statement (yet encouraging others to vote for GameRager) and he is my most likely candidate to be the third mafia member.
