Ok, sorry about the absence, but I did explain it a few days ago. I can finally post and not feel like I'm going to snap at everyone, which is a big plus. This post is going to be short and more feeling then anything else, more when I get home from work (Cause I gotta get ready soon)
Ummmmm, first off, on me being quiet, yeah, remotely, I did give a decent reason, but here's something you guys might be interested in.
Quad's last post: 341
My last post: 518
So I'm not the only person who is really quiet, and Cruward as well has been lurking and using that as a 'trap' too.
But, on to other things. I've sorta been thinking this 2 Doctor thing out...and I just realized something that never came up. We have no proof that both of these doctors are town, and it really makes no sense for both of them to be town.
But, on the other hand, there's this. Rodzaju's information, and Baz's claim have dominated the day so far, just as it did Day 1 until Damnation came back. The amount of Wine we have is staggering, and to me, this whole thing seems to be an excuse to NOT Scumhunt. My vote is, we should do SOMETHING with Rod, either take his claim at face value and move on, or lynch him and see what he flips because we're not moving forward at all.
For myself? Right now I find Quad's silent lurking and Cruward's 'trap' scummy. Cruward's trap especially because he's posted enough that I would think that he was paying attention to what was going on (I know I was, even if I was too freaked out to post in a competent fashion.)
Hmmmmm, I want to read more, so right now I'm going to Vote Cruward[\b] and then get to work, more later.

First thing someone's said that I can agree wholeheartedly with. As I said before, nothing is going to be solved by going around in circles. I maintain my views of Rod and Baz. I know I'm staking a lot on this, since if Rod flips mafia I'm as good as dead, but I'm still sticking with it. I think lynching Rod will be a huge mistake. But if that's the only way to keep this game moving, then I suppose that's what has to be done. I'm not going to vote for him, but I'm not going to defend him anymore either.Vitek

Unfortunately I think Quad is more than lurking he is non-present on forums. We play Age of Wonders PBEM game together and he was able to play only 2 turns in last 13 days. Maybe replacement should be in order. I agree we have to do something with Rod situation. I don't feel like lynching him BUT unless it's resolved somehow it will be brought up again I believe. The game was on halt few days ago until Rod's situation appeared again (thanks to me and Rob).

Why do you feel you would be as good as dead? You would come under scrutiny, sure, but you should have confidence in your reasoning today to be able to explain it tomorrow. I know if Rod should flip Town that I would be under suspicion tomorrow as the main pusher of his lynch, but I have confidence in my logic that it is the best move for town at this stage.
@ Twilight - why have you picked on Cruward instead of Quad, when a) Quad is by far the bigger lurker, and b) you know Cruward is the newb and has already stated several times he is struggling a bit to keep up with things ?
(Sorry Cruward - feel free to tell me off if I'm reading you wrong here!)

fair enough but it was somewhat of a thinly vailed plot to get pepol to maby miss step in recapping..if you get what i mean by that
That's a cellar full of wine right there. ;) How would you know what was a mistep? bazilisek: Paranoid Doc or Jailkeeper, it's all the same to me. I knock them out with an injected solution prepared from mushrooms (the psychoactive kind). How does that protect, I don't really know, but it definitely makes you sleep until the next day. /snip
Mushrooms eh? That's.. kind of odd for a doctor. Then again the mushrooms might be the source of the paranoia. ...ah, which is why it would make sense for the 'Drug Dealer' to know about it. Well, Rod has certainly been saying some very strange things, but I don't think there have been any outright contradictions. What worries me is what a few people have picked up on - that he's more worried about getting lynched than being nightkilled. That's a very scummy outlook.
I'm with the folks who say we should let it alone for now; place this particular bottle of wine to one side. I'm much more nervous about the people already pushing for a lynch on the obvious target.
That would be Robbeasy and Orryyrro...

Honestly? I went with Cruward because he's actively lurking, he's checking in but not really participating. Quad being that quiet, I thought was really odd and I have to admit I had thought that he was away and notified our mod, and he (Violator) simply forgot to inform us. I did come up with something else while I was at work...and honestly it's a concern about Jefequeso, the 'other half' of the Lovers pair. I really thought about this, and I'm also fairly certain we're going to have to figure out this situation too. A pair of townies that we'd lose if one were to die in the night? It's a dream come true for the Mafia, and considering the win condition that Lovers have...it doesn't make sense to me, something just isn't sitting right with me about the whole thing.
Unvote Cruward as a lurker is less of a problem then a potential mafia, and Vote Jefequeso

I think he's possibly the 'revenge' kind of lover. The problem here being we don't know that he hasn't joined the 'other' mafia because the shattered hand guys killed his other half.TwilightBard

That's the problem I'm having, I'm looking at Lovers to try to find variations, and I can't find anything like that. There's a role that is like what you described, but it's not Lovers, hell I can't find it right now, which is odd. I've been tossing this back and forth trying to find an angle which explains it, and I'm afraid I can't come up with anything that makes sense.
You know though...one thing that I find funny. Everyone's talking about multiple Mafia, but with the exception of just seeing the Shattered Hand making a kill....what other proof do we have other then the flavor at the very start of the game? Maybe it was something I missed, it's very possible with this weekend.

Basically, the Lovers would win as long as they survive and either of their side wins.
Say, Lover A is Town, and Lover B is Mafia. If the Mafia wins, and the Lovers are still around, A wins. If B survives to the last day, is the last Mafia left, then he wins with A and it's a town victory. But if one dies, both are supposed to die. See why I'm very suspicious about this?
@Cruward - The problem is, you called it a trap that you'd catch someone who tried to give a recap that wasn't accurate. Now, I see that we'd catch it, but how would you? How could you have been able to catch a recap that's slanted towards a wrong choice by making it seem like the best choice without reading posts?
And you haven't been as active as most people, but I've noticed you posting just enough to satisfy the time limit given. It may not be perfectly 36 hours, but it seems to be fairly close.
