Yes, you did. I could have disproved that theory by posting my information on SirPrimalForm before everyone made their claims, but you're the one that told me to wait!

This is why I've asked NFY to hold off on information tomorrow until after I've posted my information (since it's linked to her investigations). This way, NFY should be able to figure out whether I'm lying or not.

(I work a 45 hour week and have a 2 year old at home with me, so I tend to save my revelations for the weekends.)

It's not stated, but I think it's probably me that retrieves a file from the archive. Otherwise, the whole "language barrier" / chance of getting it right doesn't make any sense.

NotFrenchYet: In that case, If we lynch Primal and Zchinque/Damn, I'd be tempted to suggest we muzzle Jefe for tonight to be on the safe side. Maybe Baz could doc-block him again? I don't think he should suicide because that leaves us with the same problem of two nightkills meaning 4 players alive on D5, meaning potential mafia win.

New plan!

Lynch Primal with Zchinque/Damn hammering (6 alive)
Baz doc-blocks Jefe
Baron tracks remaining vanilla
Frenchie investigates XXX.
Mafia nightkill YYY (5 alive)

nmillar gets file on ZZZ.
Muzzling me would make sense, if there isn't a clear target for me to hit. But if you can work the lynch out to give as much info as possible going into the night, then I could make an educated kill. It might be best to abandon the 2/1 lynch idea entirely, in that case. I dunno...I'm really really bad at this sort of multi-turn strategy stuff.

Problem is, the only person that really seems scummy to me is Red_Baron, and he's claimed credit for a death that can't otherwise be explained.

I think the best thing to do with Jef's power is for us all to agree on who he should target but leave it up to Baz who he's going to target.

I can't stress enough how important it is that we don't try and influence Baz's choices. His power is more than just doc-blocking, he has the ability to mess with mafia's head. What you might think would be an obvious target for night killing might not be because of the chance it might be protected.

This whole thing is the purest form of WIFOM -- it's exactly what that scene from Princess Bride is all about.

Either we draw up a precise plan of who does what, like Zchinque did, or just jump in and hope for the best. Otherwise we can keep trying to second-guess each other ad infinitum.

Exactly. When it comes to Doc-ing and Roleblocking it needs to be WIFOM. If you say "I'm going to protect X" then it's completely worthless.

Not necessarily. The effect is still the same...the target is protected/roleblocked no matter if the mafia know it or not.

Yes, but they know to just kill someone else and we have a lot of potentially desirable targets (a jailkeeper and two investigative roles).
