oooh didnt know it was an offline game, same IP? Never heard of Thunderscape, will check this out. Not sure if i'd want to dive into such a long series as Wizardry. Maj,eyal is amazing, i bought it just for the dwarven super-class :P.
I was thinking about Blackguards, it looks good on its own but if its just the Dwarf side character it may be a pass, same for rogue legacy.
I actually looked at DBTS last night since i remember playing it as a kid, didnt know it had Dwarves, gonna wish list it along with Rune.

@Mental can Dwarves be Clerics ? I guess i can make exceptions as long as i have no elves. My helherron party is 5/8 Dwarf.

Dwarfurious: I'm looking through GOG.com for all games with Dwarves as a main/playable character, whether you create them yourself or are required to play as one. I shall seek out and someday play every Dwarf of every game, i have already done so for many games but feel free to list any you know of on GOG.com, its difficulty to just find them since most games do not properly list "Has Dwarves" as a feature, but they should.

EDIT: Games that just have Dwarves as NPC's or minion units do not count.
BLOOD BOWL!!

DWARFS! CHAOS DWARFS!

TEH HYPE!!

sorry about that. i get bit worked over bloodbowl. But yes, there are dwarfs and we have league running here on GOG.
DWARF FORTRESS 2014: JULY 1st

BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD
Besides what has already been mentioned, I can't think of anything but the dwarves in the Witcher always bitching as they walked along the back streets in the poor part of town.

I'd deliberately slow my character down just to hear the different crap they'd come up with as they ambled their grumpy asses along. (thanks for the smile.) You couldn't play as one, or assemble a team of them, but they certainly added to the atmosphere.

I don't believe it's been listed yet: Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor lets you play as a Dwarf, or even a whole party of 'em. Best part is, it's under D&D v3.5 rules: no racial restrictions to class, and multiclassing is not only permitted, but often encouraged.
Never heard of PoR! The original ones look like nice CRPG's but i cant find it on steam or GOG, hopefully i can find some place to pick that up.
Arkalash: Legacy also has a dwarf, with a big f*** cannon
Really? I think i saw Force play that and it seemed like they used their own races instead of classics, a lot of interesting and imaginative characters, didnt see a Dwarf but i'll look him up for reference. I'm very interested in seeing Dwarves in all lores and games, through the ages, changes and consistencies, good examples and bad examples etc. I'm a dwarf lover :P

Coelocanth: I haven't played the Ultima games. Can anyone chime in on those?
If I remember right in Ultima I, II, and III you can play as a dwarf, but not in the later games.

MetalPixel: Pus, it's free!

ChaunceyK: You make it sound as though some people actually charge money for pus.
*Looks at own spelling error*
How did I let that happen?

The original PoR is a lot like the first Wizardry games: because of the forced first-person perspective, any of your characters are Dwarves in name only: you almost never see them onscreen; and if you do, it's the same avatar image (because apparently only one Dwarf in the whole entire world ever agreed to pose for the 8-bit camera :p).

PoR:RoMD is a much more interactive dungeon crawl, with reasonably customizable sprites, and is one of my personal faves. It's not available on GOG yet (though there is a wishlist entry for it). I bought my physical copy at least 10 years ago; you might have some luck with sites such as eBay.

You should totally start a GOGMix called "Has Dwarves." :D

Also, add Shadowrun Returns to the list.
I should! And oh yes thats the one i kept forgetting, i kept thinking shadowbane.

I motion for the title of the GOGmix to be, Beardly

Those in the know will certainly be hip to that jive
