Csimbi: add support for more controllers (like middle mouse button and wheel)

Yeah, I can imagine the cheers if older games like Re-Volt got support for R/C controllers, and Dethkarz recognized the Logitech G25 properly. Too bad more driving games couldn't follow the lead of GT Legends and accept input from several different USB devices at once.
On a different note, I just bought Ghostbusters (2009) and will soon see whether the driving sequences are any better than the C=64 Activision release. :-) (Did anybody else hate the old map screen as much as I did?)

wraith808: Racing Destruction Set

OMG!! I was so disappointed when this came out and I plunked down $50 CAD for this POS! The promises were out of this world, but what a letdown in execution. In addition to rotten loading times (which were standard for Electronic Arts in this era)!
A new rendition, properly done, would be really nice.

Blade Runner.
It wouldn't even be that hard since the game holds up amazingly well, even today. Just smooth out the pixels a bit, and voila.
A nice 2.5D remake of Blaster Master for the NEC, not 3D like the cruddy Playstation game, but the same 2D game with updated visuals, enlarged a little with some new levels and weapons. I'd buy that for a dollar!

ElPixelIlustre: Heroes of Might and Magic 3. Just the same game with better graphics, a few more units, one or two new campaigns, and the same addictive hotseat mode.

Wolfox: That would be Heroes of Might and Magic 5. ;-)

I don't think so...
How about Sid Meier's Gettysburg!
And it would be just amazing to have a longer campaign for the game.
Syndicate
But then I hear, that a sequel might actually be in the works!
I'll add my vote for carmaggedon. Change those pixels with real looking people!
Would be fun if only for the controversy that would certainly follow.
Hmmm... lets see, there's so many
The Ultima series
The Crusader series
The Syndicate series (Possibly with a DoW2 style tactical angle, it'd make those mad persuadatron runs to capture enemy agents a lot less viable an option)
Shogun Total War (with the ETW engine it'd be even more amazing, hey GOG, can we have Shogun Gold?)
Bioforge (Return the fork or I will command it to destroy you!)
Warhammer 40000: Chaos Gate
Warhammer 40000: Space Crusade
Warhammer: Shadow Of The Horned Rat & Dark Omen (again with the ETW engine)
The parent of this thread mention Battlezone ][: Combat Commander.
For note, two of the original programmers are still making patches for it, the latest unofficial patch by them can be got at http://www.bzuniverse.com/forum/, the latest is Patch 1.3TR1, which changes the renderer to use DX9 instead of DX6 (since new video cards have dropped support of DX beyond DX8) and has a rather massive amount of fixes and addons (take a look at the 3 or 4 changelog files that detail every change, bloody massive). And of course there are a number of very well made mods and so forth as well. Join BZU and ask around, you will find the people quite helpful, if not quirky. :)
As for the rest of this thread, oh heck yes I agree with most of these. Definitely need Shattered Steel actually finished.

Aliasalpha: ... hey GOG, can we have Shogun Gold?

Sadly that is unlikely, both Shogun and the first Medieval don't function properly with modern graphics cards. Anything Nvidia 8 series or later won't work as the drivers are not compatible, some problem with z-buffering means unit selection and movement with the mouse doesn't work very well, which is a pretty big problem in a Total War game.
I've still got Shogun installed on my old pc which has a 7600gt in it and thankfully it works perfectly, because it is pretty unplayable on my 9800gtx. Playing Shogun in software mode (not available for Medieval) solves the mouse problem, but slowdown becomes a major issue. I've spent a lot of time looking for a fix for this problem online and so far nobody seems to be able to find a way round it.
Xcom! Either UFO Defense or Terror from the Deep. I know there have been some later clones, but they don't capture it. There was nothing like travelling through a wrecked alien vessel and suddenly freezing when you caught sight of an enemy and you hoped you had enough time to fire or at least hide.
You'd name all the members of your squad after your friends and family and it would really get emotional when one of those brain suckers would attach itself to your brother's head and turn him into your enemy.
The clones just don't have the atmosphere the others did. New graphics and a few little tweaks to the gameplay would be great.

What did you have it on? I had it on the C64 and it was awesome... haven't seen it's like since, except perhaps Stunts, but that's first person...
The SNES versions of the Lufia series.

A few reviews mentioned the many similarities. The campaign in HoMM V is worse by a mile, but the game mechanics are pretty much the same as in HoMM III, with a few improvements. Have you played it?

Oh well, I've never finished any HoMM campaign, I always play hotseat. And I honestly think HoMMV hotseat sucks big.
