chautemoc: I recently upgraded to 2GB from 1 and it cost $30 CAD. :D

You can get a nice 4gb set from OCZ for 33 quid here in blighty (about 60CAD). I really should have gone for 64bit vista :\.
Thanks for the free and congratulations for reaching the 100 games mark.
As for 1st PC, it was a 8088 with a 20 MB harddisk, mono yellow monitor (14 inch if I remember correctly). Don't remember the amount of RAM, but 640K ought to be enough.
Well, for a 100th games celebratory release this is certainly underwhelming.

Vandal: Yeah, I remember having to upgrade to 8MB of RAM (from 4) and it cost about $130. Crazy.

michaelleung: You people are old.

I laughed at this because I was thinking the same thing.
Congrats GOG for #100 and thanks for this one. I'll have to check it out.
I too have to thank GOG for the free adventure game :)
Not too many of those on here and I look forward to many more! ;)
by the way what does this mean?
"fellow CD Projekt family member Metropolis Software"
How is Metropolis Software related to CD Projekt?

lol back then, having 8mb of RAM was enough to play most games. I remember my Pentium 1 carried me up all the way to the Duke Nukem era. Good times

CD Projekt purchased them in February 2008.
Boy am I late to this party - this is what work does, it gets in the way of gaming. Thanks GOG, I can't wait to see what the 200th game will be (Half Life 2 ROFL)
Congratulations for the 100th game!
Thanks for the freebie. Hope this means there will be lots of more point and click adventures in the future! :)

Ah thanks. I was posting this in a thread on another forum, and I didn't know how to explain it
Wow, this was a nice surprise for sure!
I remember playing/enjoying this a long time ago...
Keep it up, GoG..................... ;)
Thanks for this free great game. I am waiting "They" (their new FPS game) from Metropolis Software too (not on GOG.com of course). I hope we will see this game in 2009.
Congrats on the #100 guys.
Thanks for the very nice gift.
Congratulations GOG! And thanks for the freebie. I look forward to playing it after I beat my current gogame.
I've got an Apple II GS sitting in my room. I don't remember how much RAM is on it or how to check it though. It's harder to do when there's no Operating System on the computer!
And it wasn't even my first computer ;-)
(My first was one that came with Windows 95...I got the Apple II after I had a PC that came with XP...)
