Nirth: I somewhat hate the NES due its brutal difficulty and lack of features.
Yeah. Definitely some games on it I still enjoy like Mario 3 and Mega Man stuff, but overall SNES hit the sweet spot with challenge, graphics and gameplay for those kinds of games.
Ugh... SNES or GBA can't decide. The inner turmoil.

And music, I think.

snes and ps2 , also sega mega drive for streets of rage 3
The warmest nostalgia feeling I get is when I think back to the Master System, but I think in overall satisfaction for me it would be the N64. Mario and Goldeneye alone just dominated gaming for me for a long period of time, but there were a lot of games I enjoyed for the console.
I loved many consoles but PlayStation 2 was just revolutionary and it was the last time we had so many different genres on console.
NES, SNES, Mega Drive and PS2 I would say. The NES is simply a unique gaming experience, the 16-bit era was the best in gaming, and the PS2 did everything right that the PS1 got wrong.

This current generation of consoles (PS3, 360) has easily been the worst so far, and the changes in PC gaming are certainly not exempt from this criticism.

My laptop
Another vote for the PS2.
Sony went downhill after that

Great topic.
