Back to the Future and Robocop.
Beverly Hills Cop, To Live and Die in LA, Back to the Future, Empire Strikes Back, All of the 80s Star Trek films (yes, even Search for Spock and Final Frontier), ET, the Indiana Jones films, The Terminator, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, Poltergeist, Ghostbusters 1 & 2, Gremlins, Superman 2, The Lost Boys, The Karate Kid, Die Hard, The Untouchables, Witness, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Mad Max 1 & 2, The Abyss, The Never Ending Story, Batman, Flight of the Navigator, Short Circuit 1 & 2, See No Evil, Hear No Evil, The Goonies, Uncle Buck, Spaceballs, the Rambo trilogy, Blade Runner, Aliens, Critters, Escape from New York, Robocop, The Shining, Lethal Weapon 1 & 2, Cocoon, Day of the Dead, Tango and Cash, Innerspace, the National Lampoon's Vacation films, Wargames, Conan the Barbarian, The Running Man, Highlander, Wall Street, Meet the Feebles, Crocodile Dundee, Full Metal Jacket.

Probably a few I've forgotten there, but ask me what my favourite films of the 2000s are, and the list will be a lot shorter.
My favourite movie of all time is from the 80's

Midnight Run

Robert DeNiro at his very best playing a bounty hunter trying to get Charles Grodin across a good part of America, all the time being chased by the FBI, another bounty hunter and the mob money was stolen from. It is a standard 80's buddy movie but the humor and banter is way better than Lethal Weapon, comedy is laugh out loud and the action sequences are fantastic. It also has one hell of an ending after everything the duo have been through.

Love it to this day and never get sick of watching it.

Also like the Lethal Weapon and Beverly Hills Cop movies. First 3 Police Academy movies, Big Trouble in Little China, Black Rain, Back to the Future, The Karate Kid, Platoon and way to many others to mention!

Ghostbusters basically IS the eighties.
See, looking at some of the posts after my last one making me think of even more!

Evil Dead 1 & 2
Lost Boys
Beetlejuice
The Untouchables
The Thing
The Goonies
Buster
The Howling
Die Hard
Gremlins
Predator
Conan the Barbarian & Destroyer
Aliens
Robocop

The list is endless. I have gradually been replacing the DVD versions of all those movies with Bluray where possible. Midnight Run is still yet to be released on Bluray though :(
