I advise you (and rest of players as well) to install Barefoot's Essentials addon for GOG. Among other things it offers preview of posts and if you have messed quote tags, it highlights them in red, so it is easier to repair them.

Actually Vitek is protecting you in effect. Since votes on you can't be unvoted everyone will think twice before voting to lynch you.

Also, in an attempt to get conversation going again, does no one else find P1na as suspicious as I do?

But he's also using Flub's joke vote as an excuse to move that vote onto me, and according to the rules Flub can't unvote me now...

Perhaps I'm making taking him too seriously, but it's primarily because of this... In particular the bit that I've put in bold. Saying that it would be better if someone where lynched, even if they weren't an alien, because they voted nolynch seems a bit bloodthirsty to me. He then proceed to jump from voting for Lifthrasil to voting for TwisterBe on pretty much the same grounds. Perhaps he simply meant to move people away from nolynching today, or wanted to see what everyone's response was, but that statement strikes me as suspicious.

The bolded part is something I've also thought about in my first game. Do you roleplay your role or continue to act as normal? So would you post as Kang's neighbour, or as CSPVG?
And the vote jumping does seem a bit weird, but we are still in RVS. I wouldn't say it's that suspicious. But I'm more often mistaken than not.

I'm not entirely sure about what I think when it comes to how one should go about playing the game. Playing the role you've been given could be fun, but it could also force you into acting in a very suspect manner. In P1na's case I believe that even if what he is doing at the moment is roleplaying, it's bad for the group at the moment. If we follow the line of reasoning that he's playing the role given to him, then that role appears to be that of a brash, highly illogical and hot-headed person. I don't think that means P1na is on the 'bad' side, I'd just like him to explain himself a little better.

I still think that TwilightBard's arbitrary vote for JoeSapphire is the most suspicious action so far. There was no foundation for suspecting Joe, so either it was just wanton bloodlust or the Bard knows something more than the rest of us. Or in other words: either he is just a killer who doesn't need a reason to kill or he is mafia and is trying to get rid of a townie. So I stick with my vote for now.

Although JoeSapphire could show his face here some time. His long absence is starting to look suspicious too!

Bloodthirsty? But of course! Kang just got killed, and I want revenge. I'm not willing to stand on my hands and let more people die without at least trying to stop them. Better to do something and regret it than not do anything and regret it, me says.

I've been reading your messages since yesterday, and since it's been around 24 hours since the first player posted, I think I can state my first opinions.

I do believe that Lifthrasil is an eager and reckless vanilla townie

I also think that JoeSapphire might very well be mafia.
I usually don't suspect people for being late for the game, but since he is
1) A deviously clever Player (Having had the pleasure to participating in a previous mafia game with him)
2) A very fond fan/member of the mafia society
It's weird he still hasn't given any sign.

I'd highly doubt he'd miss the opportunity to participate in the opening (Need I remind it's the week end), adding the fact that other players are talking about him :), unless he wanted to keep a low profile or silently study the psychology of the other players secretly wishing townies would turn on each-others, to strike them better...

Bref, I have my eyes on you, JoeSapphire.

Explain myself a little better, huh. Considering the company you keep, you should understand me well enough as it is. Even if nobody else does. Besides, there no real reason to suspect anyone. Voting for one is almost as good as voting for any other.

But I have a question here. "not bad for the group"... which group? The town, or all of us as players?

Not saying that if I'm roleplaying or not. After all, I could be roleplaying a brash, and hot-headed person. Or I could still be the same old Piña with serious police trust issues in real life and hoping to lynch a detective, as I've stated several times (and before my role was decided, I might add) that it would find it fun. Ultimately, I would vote for each of us playing the game however we find it more enjoyable, but maybe we should get some word of god here.

Should we act like ourselves at all times or can we roleplay to some extent, if we feel like it? Asking since it may get weird if some players do and some players don't.

Do as you feel... But don't be surprised if others get suspicious of you.
