It was just another day in this little backwater town. It was quite unusal. Something usually was happening here. Today there was strange tranquility. In local market, its immigrant owner was selling his expired food and surprisingly nobody complained today. Local tavern was unusally quite as well, its regulars already too drunk to be able to cause some troubles and its owner was out of shotgun shells. There was small ruckus at local elementary town, but there always was some ruckus at local elementary school. Even the town most prominent place, nuclear power plant seemingly worked flawlessly. Very unusual sight indeed.
It looked like ideal afternoon, but it wasn't true at all. In fact at the very moment, sinister alien forces were working on destruction of this town, entirely hidden to local population, who would stand no chance against these vile creatures anyway. Luckily for inhabitants of this lovely town, there were some who would, for various reason, stand against these invaders. Each of them has it's own reasons, but their goal is the same. To save this town, even at the cost of their own lives. One of them already sacrificed his life and it is the reason why is this morning so important. You found highly disfigured remnants of Kang, one of you and one of the most familiar with this town. It is apparent it was one of you, being not born on Earth, and now it is time to find the the truth behind this.

1. The moderator for the game is me, Vitek. Should you need to contact me, you can reach me through the PM system of this forum.

2. All players have a vote, which they may give to any player. A vote may be withdrawn by unvoting. Once a player has more than 50% of the votes, that player will be lynched and the game will go to night. No amount of unvoting can prevent this. You don't need to unvote if you want to place new vote.

3. A player may also vote nolynch. A majority of nolynch votes will end the day without a lynch.

4. Please remember to bold your votes and unvotes like this: Unvote Vítek, vote SirPrimalform.

5. When you are dead, you are dead - stop posting. A single "bah"-post is permissible and encouraged.

6. Don't edit your posts! This is very important! Editing a post is grounds for being modkilled. Due to the forum software I must also ask you not to double post. Two consecutive posts of the same user in a short time frame will merge, creating the appearance of an edited post. The time limit after which you can post without fear of editing post is 10 minutes.

7. Please bold any requests for votecounts or questions to the moderator.

8. Do not discuss the game with anyone outside the thread, except for people specified in your role PM, and then only at such times as the PM specifies.

9. Do not quote or paraphrase too closely any PMs you receive from the mod. If you are afraid that your paraphrasing is too close, contact me and I'll take a look at it.

10. All players should post at least once every 48 hours. If you expect to be away for more than 48 hours, please let me know either through PM or in the game thread. Failure to do this will result in me sending you a prod via PM and in thread to which you will have 24 hours to respond. I am issuing warning for every prod. If any player is to recieve his 4th warning, he gets replaced or modkilled instead.

11. If you can no longer participate in the game, let me know and I will try to find a replacement.

12. All players on the winning team win, even if they are dead. Players who are modkilled or has replaced out will automatically lose the game.

13. Roles have been randomly assigned.

14. You may not post in the game thread during night phases.

15. All players on winning team win, even the dead ones.

I'm deeply worried by the death of Keng and don't understand who would have wanted him dead. But how much I think, I don't find an answer and so, in spite of our grief about this loss, we must not indulge in random vengeance. We simply don't know enough yet, to identify a killer. So I

I'll play it safe and vote for SirPrimalform, but the whole no unvoting rule makes me want to be safer. So I'll vote Lifthrasil instead, his no lynching policy doesn't sit well with me. If he's not freaked up enough for wanting to kill someone in revenge after having seen poor Keng's remains, his not worthy of staying alive even if he weren't an alien. I mean, what help would a coward like that possibly be?

I cannot imagine who wanted Keng dead. Yet TwilightBard is eager to lynch someone. Suspicious.

This is the RVS stage of the game, where we throw out votes and reasoning to try to make people make mistakes. A nolynch at this point in the game is a bad move because the lynch is the town's ONLY way of finding Mafia, especially during day 1. A nolynch puts us at the night stage where the mafia are free to make their kill, and they aren't going to be killing their own.

Why not call them cowards instead? We all now it's the truth, no need to sugarcoat things.

That's a good idea. So: "To all evildoers, own up and reveal yourselves or be forever branded as cowards!"

Somehow I don't think that is going to work. But TwilightBard's remark got me thinking. Yes, lynching no-one means that we loose one of us townies in the first night. The only thing worse than that would be ... if we accidentally lynch one of our own! Because that would mean loosing two of us in the first round!
BUT TwilightBard himself is perfectly willing to kill someone without the least reason for suspicion (he voted for JoeSaphire who hasn't even acted yet) and he is speaking against nolynch, in effect urging us to risk an error that will lead to an additional death among us. All in all he shows very little concern for human life or for evidence and therefore I suspect, that he is part of the evil forces threatening us. Therefore I change my vote to:
