Cormoran: I love how the PC Gamer article describes making a half arsed game with waaaaaaay to many copy pasted levels a "personal story" that "proved too great a shift for some fans". Yeah, that was obviously the issue everybody had with it...
Yeah, that made me laugh out loud as well. Cormoran: I stopped reading after that, first paragraph in and it already seems like less of an article and more of a paid advertisement. If I even bother with this after the mess that was DA2 it'll be with a pirated copy. I won't be burned again by Bioware.
Actually, it's worth reading the article. Some good statements in there by Darrah, from admitting errors**, to clarifying what type of game they're going for, to a little more insight into their intentions with 'romance'. **One quote I particularly like is this (in reference to Awakening):
...the zombie warden was just a stupid decision on our part I’d say. We should have just not let you. We decided, if you want to play awakening we should let you use your warden. Well what if they’re dead? We’ll let you bring them back to life. We should just not have that.
