stoicsentry: An example, I'm going to do a quest in some mansion in the city. On the way, 10 bandits attack me, then 10 more, then 10 more. I go inside the mansion, where I am attacked by 20 bandits. Then I leave, and I am ambushed by... bandits. First 10, now 10 more, now 10 more.

This is about 1/200th of the game play. I expect that in my time playing the game, I murdered approximately 50% of the city. Yes, approximately 50% of the city is either bandits or rogue mages who attack me for no apparent reason.
Yep, and this city is empty even before all those bandits show up - despite the fact it's described as full of refugees. I mean c'mon BioWare, you broke the cardinal rule of story: show, don't tell.
I tried the demo first, and I had problems comprehending the immensity of the shit that it sucked, so out of curiosity I pirated it. I played it for about an hour and a half, before I purged it from my system. I've bought and enjoyed every game Bioware has released, but this was so horrible that I'd have to be paid by the hour to play it.
Dragon Age 2? I'll just pretend it never happened
I haven't played either of the Dragon Ages. I'd certainly give it a shot for $6.
The best thing about Dragon Age 2 is that I got Mass Effect 2.

I did enjoy Dragon Age, it’s wasn’t a great game or anything like that I was just enjoying the companion quests really; right until the end when the game basically holds up its middle finger at you and goes wild. Bits of the last act where frustrating but some of it was ridiculous enough to be funny.

Over all it’s the game they booted out of the door so they could get going with the next one.
i hope that they dont destroy mass effect 3

Don't worry, they delayed the game again because they needed to dumb it down EVEN MORE.

At least they are adding the "awesome button." So when I press a button, everyone explodes around me. : /

You already have that in Mass Effect 2, it's called the Cain.

But I want every button to do something awesome. As a matter a fact, just take away me controlling the game away and when I use the movement keys.... MY ENEMIES HEADS EXPLODE! Bioware has to do this or it has to GTFO!

**trollface**

lukipela: You realize that the explosion shit only happens n DA2 when the narrator is making shit up, right?
You realize that the 'enemies exploding' bullshit is one of the issues adressed on the upcoming 1.3 patch, right ?

"General Improvements - We've slowed the initial pace of enemies at the start of combat, allowing tactical positioning to play a more useful and important role. They also generally gain more health as the game progresses, they're less likely to explode into puddles of blood and gore all the time and..."

Origins is a really good game.

DA2 isn't, and that's unfortunate. But, even so, I feel perfectly confident in recommending Origins.
da2 reminds me of those Zelda games on the cd-i.....
