keeveek: Why do you need it for free? Aren't you the successful B&B owner? :P
XD
Principle my very clever friend. Untill Blizzard takes over the world I aim to avoid paying for online play as long as I can avoid it. Also I can get really good online mindbender and puzzle games for free already so why pay for a trivia one?

Because playing board games online compares to real deal just like having sex to masturbation :P No offence :P

Are you serious!? Can you post a pic of it? I've gotta see that unless you are yanking my chain.

WAIT...I found it on google.

It's going for $175.00 on Amazon, but I can get Halo the boardgame for $60!

Yeah, I'm serious. Picked it up years ago and never played it. LOL

I highly suggest yard sales! It probably won't be free but it also won't be $175 either! Although you'll never find me selling any of my giant collection of board/jigsaw games at a yard sale for a buck apiece, I know other people do...

:D That would be great if I didn't live in the middle of nowhere. It's not a big deal but you are right; when I was a kid and I lived in civilzation hitting yard sales was always a sure fire way to find something you thought was gold and someone else thought was crap.

Send it to me if you really don't need it :D

Seriously dude, either play it or sell it for good money.

It's a decent enough game...it was actually the predecessor to 1st Edition Descent. One person plays as the sort of 'Overlord' character controlling the monsters and what not while up to 3 others are the Marines.

The biggest problem is that the game is NASTY hard for the Marine players. You'll probably end up tweaking a few rules to try to give them a fighting chance, unless you want to spend $150+ buying a copy of the expansion.

The Halo boardgame is apparently a complete bag of shit. People buy it to get the stuff in the box to use elsewhere, then toss the rules and everything to do with the Halo game.

keeveek : Glad to see you'ree continuing on with the games! Let me know what you end up thinking of Alcatraz. I've considered picking that up as well.

Anyone, and you wll have to show your age here, ever play the GI Joe Boardgame? It came out around the time as the 1st action figures and the characters were all from that first group. I also had Zaxxon the Boardgame but that was only worth it for the cool ship and wall pieces.

I had the GI Joe game. :) Sadly, it wasn't with some of my other childhood games (Fireball Island, Torpedo Run) that I dug up at my parents' place. So I think it's lost to time. :(
Board games are expensive in here and not many people play them (excetp for the usual family entertainment Monopoly and snakes&ladders)

i usually play Settlers of Catan and Game of Life

PS. I sometimes also get to play D&D 3ED with some guys from my town (not many of those players either)

Games are pretty expensive here too, compared to salaries. But if you treat them good, they will give you fun for years. I still have my copy of Monopoly me and my brother got for christmas ten years ago... And it's still in good condition!

Darling_Jimmy: I highly recommend naked Twister. That is the only game I can get anyone else interested in. Soon I will try introducing them to naked Magic: The Gathering.
