Licurg: I installed it yesterday, and played for a couple of hours, but today whenever I try to get in the game it gives me this error:

gunsynd: Is it Steam or Gog version?
If Gog save your saved game and reinstall.
Go back to steam and verify game thru your library.

Licurg: I don't even have a steam account :/

A lot of problems are fixed by reinstalling,if it still gives you problems then contact Gog Support Ok...

So there's no other solution besides reinstalling ? What if it happens again ?

Ganni1987: Create a .txt file with the name "steam_appid.txt" and add these numbers in - 230230. Save it and try the game :-)

The file should be placed in the folder where the EoC.exe is.
