kalirion: Actually IIRC, if you listen to the commentary of Blackwell Legacy, Dave Gilbert says that he started on the Blackwell series because he wanted to get into episodic games.

Leroux: I think the first three games of the Blackwell series are a good example of episodic games done right. I'm not a big fan of episodic games myself (although I enjoyed Sam & Max Season One, but I bought it as a complete package). Especially not when there's a chance that they will be abandoned before the story arc is closed. But like I said, I think the first three Blackwell Bundle games work fine even on their own. I'm a bit more wary of games with numbers in the title, like Insecticide Episode 1 (the sequel of which was indeed abandoned on PC), Lylian Episode 1 or The Journey Down Chapter One.
Don't forget the Half-life 2 Episodes. >.>
Kyttaro Games has begun introducing the projects that might get a share of the Indie Dev Grant, depending on what the bundle customers vote for on in the end:

Personally I think the Sci-Fi adventure from Warbird Games sounds the most promising, although so far all you can see is design sketches and backgrounds (those look impressive though).

for those who are still indecisive:
minimum price is now $0.99, average price is at the moment $4.95, trending downwards.

The poll is up, voting ends Wednesday, at the same time the bundle will be over.
There is a new Version of TSWCE.

Thanks for the heads up!
Threw my vote in for Jack Houston and the Necronauts.
I just went to check on the votes and found out I'm required to vote again in order to see the results. Apparantly the disappointments and disillusions for the organizers continue ... Seems they didn't expect that people would cheat and abuse the poll, voting several times for their preferred entries, so they had to fix that and reset it (probably deleting tonight's votes and all the ones before it). :(

See here. (The poll has been extended for a week to give everyone a second chance.)

You see? This bundle is a set of problems. They didn't even bother to inform about new build of games they are selling.
Well, that's just bloody sad...

EDIT: Well damn, now I can't see the results either, I only voted something upward of half an hour ago, am I supposed to vote again? Guess I'll just pass, as I'm worried I might actually jeopardize the project I'm trying to support.

Yes, thanks.
Humm. It seems that the simple suggestion of creating "an unnamed Metroidvania title inspired by Cave Story" can lead you to rank 5 in the poll, without _anything_ to show, Interesting.
