The ultimate collection of amusement park business ups and downs!

RollerCoaster Tycoon 1+2+3, a collection of three great amusement park management games that let you create the rides you always dreamed about, is available for only $8.97 (that's 75% off) in a bundle on GOG.com, for the next 24 hours. You can also get the games separately with 60% off discount.

Where's entertainment for the masses, there's massive income for a skilled entrepreneur. An amusement park is an automated money maker for a businessman who understands what it's all about. Build an "EST" ride--one that's either the fastEST, highEST, longEST, scariEST, craziEST, or any other possible "EST"--and the people will come running to experience the "EST" moment in their lives. As long as you come up with original ways to rattle and shake people, there's plenty of loose change that'll surely drop out of their pockets. Make them scream with terror or yell with joy and they'll get sore throat and be happy to pay you five bucks for a medium soda. You'll need a rake to handle the cash. But here's a secret: this isn't about money. If you'll go into the business with only the cash in mind, you will fail. It's all about letting your inner child finally build the playground of their dreams. Do that. People will love it.

RollerCoaster Tycoon 1+2+3 is a brilliant series of managerial games that let you design and run your very own amusement park complete with custom rides and various other attractions. The more money you make, the bigger your budget gets, and the more technically advanced and extravagant rides you get to build. The economic part of all of the games is consistently challenging and deep, while the theme park development options are getting more robust and varied with every game. Creating a perfect mix of serious business simulation with the sheer joy of riding the rides you design, this great collection will provide you with many hours of pure fun!

Get your roller coaster business on track with RollerCoaster Tycoon 1+2+3 for a small investment of only $8.97. If you already own any of the featured games on GOG.com, you'll be able to complete the bundle retaining the 75% off discount rate. The offer lasts until Tuesday, July 9, at 9:59AM GMT.
Nice great games to play. Although 1st is best in my eyes
Interesting that Atari is planning to sell the rights to this series in 8 days.

Indeed. Gut feeling tells me that this offer is to wring out the last drops before the games may potentially need to be pulled from the site.

Great offer for all three games though.

Wait, what ? They're taking them off GOG ? When the hell did this happen ? :/

Well, it's not a given that they have to be taken off GOG. It is, of course, all dependent on who ends up buying.

For example, we could be very unlucky and have Microsoft buy the rights, and their corporate policy is to release nothing without DRM.

Then again, they might be bought by Chris Sawyer, or Ubisoft, or EA, which would likely enable them to keep being sold here.

They probably won't be taken off GOG, the publisher will just change. Atari is in bankruptcy proceedings and is auctioning off their IP's on the 16th.
See, this is the reason why pricing should not be part of a review. The top reviews for Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 are all bitching about the price instead of reviewing the game.

usually even if GoG lose the rights to sell a game you will still be able to download it. There has only been one instance where the Mac version of a game (forgot which one) was pulled completely, and that was because GoG never had the rights for that version to begin with (often Mac ports are handled by 3rd party companies)
GOG should have another Atari sale....

Well, why are they selling them in the first place ? Is Atari finally kicking the bucket ? :(

They've been flirting with it for a fair while now

Yeah, I know that. I'm not really worried about these games, so much as I am about other Atari games that I wanted to buy. And now I'm finding out they might not be here anymore...
O, a Gem promo....:-)
Nice to be back in normal weekly routine

The first game is my favorite. 2 and 3 are a bit crazy and not as realistic as the first but still aren't too bad.
The games probably will be removed at least temporary until another publisher acquires them but still worth grabbing them all now in case.
