Thank you for the giveaway! Civilization is a great series. Never have played the later ones, but I remember playing the original a heck of a lot.
My favorite civilization are the Romans. Those phalanx units in the early game owned! Favorite period would have to be around 600 BC or so, whenever the Roman empire was full steam ahead. :)

Thanks for the giveaway! I'm leaning Renaissance Italy. I only actually own one Civ game (IV), so it would be cool to broaden my Civ horizons.

Holy smokes! Awesome giveaway!
From Civ 4, I loved to play Ancient Greece. It felt awesome to annihilate the tiny germinated seed of Rome in their infancy.

Is that supposed to be Civ civs? In that case, no idea- haven't played a Civ game since III and in that one, I never had a favourite one.
So, if its game-related, Alpha Centauri, Gaia. Because in the future man and worm will chill together.
If its not game-related: Victorian Era. Travel 'round the world in 80days, exciting foreign lands being the latest craze, that kind of stuff.

Not in, but thanks and +1 for the giveaway, angrypole!
I love History in general, though I have my favorite eras and civilizations: Ancient Greece (check my username), Rome, Egypt, Hittites, Persians, Medieval Dark Ages, WWI & II, etc. So much to read, so little time... :D
