I really want to play, but can't for the life of me find Theme Hospital anywhere...
And knowing EA, that's not likely to change any time soon.
It would be fantastic if we could get these games. Bulfrog was one of my favourite 16 bit companies with the likes of populos and powermonger being great fun to play on the atari st. Even their pc games where great Dungeon Keeper was a laugh and a joy to play. It was a shame they got eaten by EA which loves to strip mine a company and then discard the husk of a once great developer.
earlier this year, CEO john riccitiello admitted that EA "blew it" with bullfrog:
"Bullfrog, Origin, Westwood--all no longer exist today because something broke. ... and I'll simply state that EA blew it, and to a certain degree, since I was involved, I blew it."

maybe GOG can convince riccitiello to make amends by re-releasing these classic titles here? i'd immediately buy up the populous, syndicate wars, and dungeon keeper games.

Yes Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want Dungeon Keeper 1!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, Peter Molyneux, how I wish he still worked for Bullfrog making games like Theme Park and Dungeon Keeper etc.
It'd be bloody awesome if these could be added to GOG.
Unfortunately, I lost my Magic Carpet 2 disc a long time ago, and I've since moved from where it's probably lying around. I want that game back!
Dungeon Keeper was also one of the few RTSs I really got into, so I'd definitely pay up for that. Haven't played the sequel, though.
I haven't played much else from them, though. I remember trying to play a demo of Syndicate, but it never worked on my K6-2 350-based system for whatever reason.
Needless to say, I'm backing this up with a resounding "HELL YES!" The more people that get to experience Magic Carpet 2, the better.
I'm backing this up too, mainly because I never had a comp that could run Theme Hospital with any sort of non-frame-dropping goodness.

I doubt it, aren't they owned by EA now?
Bullfrog made superb games, especially Dungeon Keeper. Whoever made the decision to cancel development on Dungeon Keeper 3 should have his head examined... With a power drill.

*Cough* EA *Cough*
I would love to be able to play Magic Carpet again. I was able to get the video to play, but no sound. The video was so fast, it was impossible to play.
Does anybody know how GOG is going about getting rights? Do they have a person/department seeking deals out?

Try downloading a program called Moslo. It should slow your processor down enough to play the game.
Also is the game DOS based??? if it is try playing around with the config files for DOSBox of that's what you are using.
I think I own Magic Carpet 2, I don't know how or where I bought it. But I got it when it first came out, and I was simply overwhelmed by it. I did get the hang of it after a while, and thought it was pretty fun to fly around killing those flying worms or whatever they were, that and Terminal Velocity were my excuse to get a joystick and fly around imagining I was actually flying. The fact that this was on a desk chair that would turn and pivot and that I was in 4th grade probably added to the whole awesomeness of it all. I did die a lot though, thats for sure.
Syndicate on the Amiga 500. Ah, the memories ...
I want to play Hi-Octane again. I hope EA will think about releasing those games on gog.
