It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Miaghstir: Minor, unimportant, almost non-noticeable thing: the "low rated" label doesn't play nice with the "report as spam link". Only confirmed on Safari/Windows as the offending posts were removed before I could check in other browsers.
Looks like a browser specific one, i marked a few earlyer today and it displayed ok on IE8.
New bug:

There's a new, as of yet uborn, game on gog.

I'm not sure i understand you, but there's a setting under 'My Settings' regarding which page you go to, first or last, when you click on a thread title. Is that related to what you're describing ?

Have you experienced any of that on 'regular' non editorial threads ? Because the editorial threads are usually the ones hit by spam and where a few spam posts end up being deleted which could potencially be messing up post and/or page count.

Ok, i've updated the OP. Thanks Damuna.

Edit:

And now for something completely different.

Just noticed this one, the pics are self explanatory.

Damuna: I can confirm it affects threads other than the editorials for me - I just got it with this thread, this being the page it gave me, rather than the last one (currently page 34). In this instance, a deleted post is very plausible, as there was only one post ahead of mine before the jump.
The post count on the threads index for that thread (662 now) doesn't match the actual post count (663 now) so it seems one post was in fact deleted. I removed the 'editorial posts' bit from the OP since it's not just those being affected.
There's two search fields in the forums. The problem is that I can't search by using the lower box, just the upper box.

Also, develop a decent search. I rarely can find something worthy, and it doesn't search entire phrases such as "abc def", it just ramdonly searches abc def. And order the results by date of the last post, not randomly.

The search feature was apparently tweaked but it's still lacking, specially when compared to a google search. Use google limited to gog.com and you'll have a much easyer time finding stuff.

Here's an example of what i mean

I'm not seeing two search fields, unless you mean the big search field above to search on the catalogue and the smaller one below to search on the boards.

Hey Namur,

Lacking? It's crap, that's what it is. And there isn't an option to search thread's title only, it searches both title and inside text.

Yes I know that using google is an alternative, but I don't like leaving the site just for a search. (dammit, google already cached my post from 15min ago :p)

In every forum page there's 3 fields: catalogue search, forum search at the top, forum search at the bottom. ;)
GOG seem to have stopped anonymous posts. But I'm willing to bet that's not a bug either.

Yep, stopped. I've tried bumping my GFWL thread as anonymous, tried 2 or 3 times but it didn't got posted.

Not a bug I guess. Actually I like that only logged users can post.

Oh it would be great if it wasn't for the fact that posting while logged in - as you've already pointed out - is bugged to buggery and requires workarounds for it to be workable.

So far we've lost the ability to post long posts (you know, like all the old helpful threads we used to have), post anonymously and make new posts in threads that we're the last poster in. At this rate it'll be just like fucking Twitter by the end of the year.

Hey there.

I agree, it's not like it's the best search feature ever or anything ;) And yeah, google is a speed demon.

So it's the bottom boards search field that is not working for you ? I just tried it with IE, Chrome and Firefox and it seems to be working. Are you on Opera or something ? ;)

I wonder if it's related to something they did to acomodate the TW2 pre orders.
In any case anon posting should have been disabled long ago if you ask me. Double that for anon reviews.

Edit: I totally agree with you on the merging posts things, it's not good that we have to ask another user to bump a particular thread on account of merging posts regardless of time span between them

It even feels like someone is paying in cash for google, to keep a close eye exactly on gog.com... hehehe. 5min passed, BAM, cached already.

I'm in Firefox 3.6.8 and the bottom doesn't work. Tested the bottom now on IE, and strangely it works. Not important, just reporting and whining about the craptastic search.

I didn't even know there are anonymous reviews... And also, they should have a standard for writing reviews. Reviews are a mess, kinda boring to read through.

Yeah, it kinda changed to the worse.

I dislike exactly these 3 things: No long posts, no bumping if you edit a post, no bumping if you add a post in a thread which you were the last poster.

At least now they fixed the "red reply flags". And the flag goes directly to the reply, like /post321.

What gets me is that you read a GOG staff member's post about not wanting to make changes that inconvenience forum users, then you see things progressing in an entirely contrary direction.

Maybe some of it really is just bugs. I hope so. Either way I hope things change soon. Right now even a basic phpbb setup would be better than this.

Well let's hope that's not the last significant fix the forums receive.
