Are there still any spots open?

I'd like to get involved, although I only purchased the game today. I've played a few campaign matches, and didn't fair terribly well. I'm sure, given a week or two, I'll improve a little. I'll try the multiplayer side of things out this weekend.

Am I too green, or would you guys be willing to accept me?

sure! fresh me... players are in need :)

Anyways - just follow the thread and we'll annouce the actual start time and submiting time for the teams later, after season 2 ends in four weeks time or so. depending on how the playoffs go.

it would be super-great, if you could play say 5 online matches. either public or if you want, against anyone in GoG open league where you can challenge anyone you want. the original thread's post1 (check this threads post1) has contact info and other bits and pieces you might be interested in.

ill add you to season3 roster shortly.

Watching a pair of matches could help you a lot, too. Don't spend much tiem with the single player, just enough to learn the game. Any competent player can crush the computer 99% of the time with halflings.
Then as Digitalhero suggested, play some practice matches, so you get some things clearly explained. The game can be a bit frustrating if you don't understand what you are not doing right.
After testing a cupple of teams in single player mode I think I'll play regular undead. I like Regeneration a lot!
I have just completed my first public match. I played as Humans, against Lizardmen, and lost 3-0. It was fun though, damn near every Saurus on his side had block. It was not pretty.

I'd really appreciate a game against one of you guys, and if you're willing to give me a few pointers, that's even better. So, will you teach me, wise ones? Seriously, though, I'd be up for a game on Saturday night, and pretty much any time Sunday, if anyone is willing to play me.

yes, that shows your steam account name.

other good one would be to post your BB coach name.

i will eventually collect all the player/coach/steam names on one page - you can see example (and ofcourse contact into) on the original season2 thread's first post. link should be in first post of this thread as well.
And a bump!
thinking about it,I don't want to participate on thethird seasonbecause I'm not very good on Blood Bowl and can't win any match(even on single player) and I don't see myself improving(formations,playstyle...)

You ARE improving! I saw you playing yesterday and compared to our match there was a huge difference!
And I haven't ever won a match against AI either so that doesn't mean anything.
If you want to have some training matches with helpful commentary (maybe even over Skype) I'm sure there are many players who would like to help you.
Or maybe switching to a different team could help you to feel differently about Blood Bowl.
Bumpy! Need more BB coaches!

Yeah, what a boost that could be for the league if true. :)
