I'm leaning toward Orcs, but Undead is a close second.
Still got time to play around and experiment.

JudasIscariot: I can try another team if we need to diversify the teams. I did notice that more people wanted to play Chaos Dwarves, myself included :P.

I tried Norse against the AI and, good lord, I was having guys get injured left and right if the opponent got a chance to start. I wish there more teams that aren't Chaos or Lizards that had some toughness to them.

So, in short, if we need more team diversity I'll be the first to try out another team for the sake of variety and the league.

iippo: there is no need to decide the team yet - plenty of time.. we are simply asking so that people have -some- idea what the others are interested in.

Talking about solid teams:

orcs? vanilla dwarfs? regular undead? khemri (with reservations)? nurgle? humans/amazons with lots of guard? perhaps even necro with all that regen - >sure there are sturdy teams around :)

even norse are sturdy as long as you are the first one to hit and hit hard enough for the opponent not to pick themselves afterwards...
Khemri solid??
Well, they are fun, that's for sure, but...they have problems picking the ball.
To say the thruth, I have played them for some time, and although they have real problems to win games when you have reach 1450 or more tv, and play against a similar tv rival, Until then they can tear the your opponent to pieces.
But you depend on picking the ball from the ground, and that's not easy for them...
I got great memories from my matches with khemri...they are a solid possibility if there is a forced switch.

I get the feeling, this becomes more and more a dwarf-dominated league. There are at this point 5 teams with dwarves.

If there gonna be more of them, I totally won't play the Custodians next season. I am thinking of sending them into holidays already.

Current status: I will start fresh with Orcs.

durabilitywise khemri are "decently solid" lots of ST5 (decay -> depends on regen...). skellies might be av7, but they got thick skull + regen and are almost free. and ofcourse everyone else has regen as well.

Gameplay, even blocking wise they are NOT solid team..but they take beating very well. ofcourse they can only play solid grind, so the coach is going to learn that very solidly as well :p

ive played some 5 khemri matches on public, interesting team - play very differently thanks to ag2..
And a bump.
For awareness and stuff.
...if a new player is willing to commit to play on season3, i just -might- have a spare BloodBowl Legendary Editions still hidden somewhere. I think. Almost totally certain...
I might have two friends who'll join. They're dragging their feet about it right now.

You tell them this is zeriouz buzinez and dallying is punishable by seasonful of halflings.

Tell them that many people here frown upon stalling so they should better move now and get in. :-D

And most of the remaining people consider stalling acceptable only if you have exactly one ball, and grasp it firmly.

So, ask them if they want to get in gear, or rather be forced to meet the requirements for stalling ... ;)

*laughs out loud*

Lordy, I'm still undecided...Humans? Undead? Dark Elves? Necromantics? Skaven?

So many options, so little time.

I wanna see someone's brain snap from Halflings. Makes me look like quite the badass for how I've handled it.
avatar
kanarek: amozons are similar, newbie friendly team

comparing to norse
more mobility
better ball handling skills
less bashy
avatar
JudasIscariot: I am looking for a more bashy team as I like being able to smack players around causing injuries so that if I lose it won't be without a fight :D
The advantage with amazons is in their four blodgers, but with so many dwarfs...They are risky.

Hey, I won two matches in Naggaroth with halflings...both oponents disconected when the dirty halflings killed one of their players after several fouls

...that should result in some kind of negative achievement or whatever :)
