I love the new wishlist.... but I'd like to know what the turn around is planned to be on keeping it clean. What turned me off from the old list immediately was how obvious it was that it wasn't being updated in any way (purging non-game entries or duplicates).

I know you guys are busy, but do you have staff that will be working on this daily? (weekly? more or less often?)

I'd really like to see it stay clutter free. There is already a couple of "joke" posts and a few duplicates from the first few hours. I'm sure it will always be ongoing, but hope its a process that is stayed on top of so we can continue to use the tools. Thanks!
Is there some formula that generates the recommended game list?
Congrats, guys, keep up the great work.
The new layout is irrelevant to me. It's all about the content, and I am definitely pleased to see GOG incorporate some newer games - particularly indie titles - as well as their promise in this here thread to continue releasing true oldies.

I've already pre-ordered Legend of Grimrock simply because it looks like an amazing dungeon crawler - a genre that is sadly not as prevalent as it used to be. I think games like this and Machinarium fit the spirit of GOG perfectly and will help the service grow.

As soon as I have more expendable cash, you can bet I'll be getting The Whispered World also.

Toast_burner: I like the new layout but I'm saddened that you scrambled my account, I organised it based on the colours of the cover art :(
Me too, I had my shelf all nice and sorted based on genre RPGS, followed by Shooters, followed by Platformers, Strategy and then Adventure and freebies. I took a bit since the way the shelves work is different now, you just can't pick up and move a game and place it anywhere on the shelves anymore.
FYI just a couple items that need attention:

Though I'm online my forum info says I'm offline.

I tried searching for a title on the main page and after clicking the title nothing happened.
Looks great! Thank you for being the beacon of gaming purity that you are!

DrIstvaan: I also have a question: were GOGMixes a passing fad or am I the only one who cannot find them?

dquadros: I've just found GOGMixes in the Browse Games page. Did not found (yet) how to create a new one.
Ah, indeed there they are. Thank you.
(I only saw there was no more "My GOGMixes" tab/button, and that they are gone from the main page.)
Well, my nicely organised shelf was scrambled, but they finally added the ability to move items in between and not only switch them. But is there any chance of making sure that the game list loads IN FULL and not only partially, to expand when I scroll down? Also, shouldn't there be a link somewhere to the downloader. It might be difficult for new members to find out about it.

As for everything else in this update...I'm just breathless. This is a great change for GOG.com and the future is brighter than ever. As long as the hat overlords don't take over that is.

Titanium: Did I miss it somewhere, or is there a rundown of the new pricing policy? So 11.99 and 14.99 or are there more options?
I remember an old news post on this subject and that it will be 14.99 and 19.99, but I could be wrong.

That sorting system is so funny in a good kind of way.

But yeah, I lost my genre/theme based shelf too, so I feel for you bro.
An organized wishlist which seems to work - that made my day.
And Lengend of Grimrock seems so good, wishlisted for when I have a decent computer.
Hurray for the Wish Lists (games and features), great work. I just voted for Rogue Squadron, and I'm going to include my own recommendations for the site now.
How come these threads don't have the news post at the top anymore?
(excuse my english)

Amazing movement, very natural too. Love to see this 5 games in GoG: top class indie games, although i already have all.

And to see LoG is a BIG surprise. Instant buy for me.

I like Desura as much as i like GoG, hope they can co-exist peacefully :)
I just wish it didn't completely screw up my game ordering and make me have to start again from scratch. When you have 50+ games it's a huge hassle to get it just the way you like it.
