I like the evolution of GOG.com and look forward to your continued success! :)

Trilarion: I think they reintroduced the bug that you cannot edit edits of your posts because always the original post is shown. I thought that was fixed some weeks before.
That is caused by the edit box not refreshing. Just F5 it.

cymrean: Where is that new wishlist. I see no link.
Bottom of the page, under "Help us Improve GoG.com.
That's where I found it. :)
First off, my opinion about the improvements: while I didn't have a problem with the old layout, I like this one, too. And as long as you also keep releasing classic titles, I don't mind the newer ones.

I also have a question: were GOGMixes a passing fad or am I the only one who cannot find them?
Mui bueno. I wonder what indie titles will be available.

I'm trying to run the new downloader but it doesn't work, though. So there's that I guess, sorry. :)

kalirion: Yeah, I hope they at least continue releasing a new GOG every Thursday, leaving the rest of the week for the titles that you can get everywhere else.

TheEnigmaticT: Don't worry; we have dozens of classic games signed, in the process of remastering, and scheduled to come out on GOG.com in the next few months. We aren't going to stop releasing classic games.
Great to know, thanks!

Fuzzyfireball: Speechless.
He who is speechless doesn't simply say "Speechless." hmmmm......

I'm speechless.

I'm liking the new layout and I'm glad you took a hint from Barefoot_monkey's account menu extension. The only thing I don't like is the annoying persistent top bar. 99% of the time I don't need to use it and having it taking up space bothers me.

DrIstvaan: I also have a question: were GOGMixes a passing fad or am I the only one who cannot find them?
I've just found GOGMixes in the Browse Games page. Did not found (yet) how to create a new one.
The moment I saw that Legend of Grimrock was one of the new games they were talking about, I knew they could do no wrong.
Nice! So excited to get to support some newer games too (well, some games on GOG are fairly new anyway, but looks like Legend of Grimrock is first run).

I'm preordering Legend of Grimrock after watching the trailer. I loved ID's Orcs and Elves for the DS, remember enjoying a Capcom published DND game on the SNES, so hopefully I'll like this too!

I'd buy Trine in a heartbeat except I already bought a retail copy of Trine that I GUESS is DRM free? I almost feel like buying it just to support them supporting GOG. Hope this is the start of a decades/centuries long way to buy new games :)

Heehee, so cool to have a new game like that that has a MINIMUM resolution of 1024x768 and REQUIRES shader model 3! :-D
There are a few serious issues with the new site...

1) I couldn't choose a game title, all positions have empty names. When I chose the first empty one, I was greeted by an error:
"You currently don't have any purchased games on your account. If you have any questions about a game you wish to buy, please use the %0"Other issues / questions"%1 form."

Yikes, that makes me worried!

2) EDIT: This point is no longer valid. Are you still doing some synchronization?

On the page:
http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/superfrog
I see an invitation to buy the game although I've already done it! I guess it's a quirk of the new site version... I wonder if more games exhibit this error now. (the funny thing is I see the game in my account, your database must be inconsistent then...)

3) I am writing here, not only on support because there is no feedback if a message was successfully registered! How can I know if it was sent if after clicking "Send" I get redirected to:
http://www.gog.com/en/support/contact
without any additional info?

This new site makes me worried... I hope this difficulties will be gone soon.

EndlessWaves: Casual doesn't mean bad, it just means less 'depth'/simpler controls than the mainstream. Given a mainstream platformer is something like Assassin's Creed which is in 3d, has more weapons and more detailed controls than Trine (not to mention a fully acted and cutscened story) I don't see how it can be anything else.
That's a rather bizarre view of video-games though, isn't it? I don't gauge complexity by production values or control scheme. An indie game like VVVVV is widely regarded as a hardcore experience, even though it has an exceedingly simple control scheme, has no voice acting, and stylized retro graphics. Machinarium is also regarded as a deep adventure title, not at all casual or shallow. Point-and-click adventure games typically have simple control schemes because, well, they're point-and-click. And there's several of those already on this site. Beneath a Steel Sky is, for example, a precursor to Machinarium, and both play in similar ways with similar settings, so I am not seeing how Machinarium is antithetical to the GOG ethos. I don't think simple controls or an "indie" tag renders a game casual. Like that other poster said, casual suggests that anyone, including non-gamers, can just pick up the game and have fun. VVVVV or Super Meat Boy would have most non-gamers up the wall. I think tabulating complexity or depth in a video-game by counting the number of buttons used or items offered, which is basically what you're describing, is kind of odd.
I like the new layout but I'm saddened that you scrambled my account, I organised it based on the colours of the cover art :(
I just got home and had a quick tour of the new site. While there may be issues, as always, I must say that, at a first glance, I love it!

Congratulations for the new site and new(er) games!

*Specially useful not having to move every game in the shelf that comes after it!
