Betrayal at Krondor-I don't know why I have these games or how I got them
Betrayal in Antara-I don't know why I have these games or how I got them Vampire the Masquerade-Redemption-boring
+Return to krondor-Will when I get around to it
Neverwinter night-Buggy, crashes at startup of almost every pc computer I own
+Planescape Torment-Will when I get around to it.
Gothic 1 and 2-I don't know how I have these games
+Icewind dale1, 2-I really like IWD 1, I played up to the beginning, but had to get new pc. Iwd 2 I didn't like so prally not.
Fallout 1, 2, tactics-I don't like the fallout series.
Jagged Alliance 1 and 2-The 1st one sucks as the graphics are terrible. The 2nd is pretty cool, will likely complete when I get around to it.
Inquisitor-Awful, the only way I will go back to it, is if I can make a ranged character that doesn't die every time I start combat like my tank that failed.
Temple of Elemental Evil/Knights of the Chalice-I see no reason to play these games, Avernum has everything and more.

I just finished far cry. Shooters aren't really my thing (I hadn't played any since Doom) but I really enjoyed it. Also Broken Sword is a pretty easy and enjoyable adventure game if that's your thing.
Thanks for the tips. I stopped playing games in the mid 90s and only recently started again so I have a different definition of modern from most people (anything after 1997 basically) and "bad" graphics or UI is what I am used to so that doesn't really bother me :).
My current strategy is that I have an RPG, a strategy an action-y game, a casual game and an adventure game on the go and I switch between them as I see fit. I plan to play the older games in a series first (recently finished Baldur's Gate, sometime I will do BG2, then Ice Wind Dale 1 and 2).

Let's see, I own a lot of horror games, and yet the only ones that I can remember finishing are Resident Evil 4 and Eternal Darkness.
Lurking in the shadows awaiting me are:
Amnesia: The Dark Descent.
Cryostasis.
Dark Fall: Lost Souls.
Condemned 1 & 2.
The Penumbra games.
All the previous Resident Evil games.
All the Silent Hill games (I played the second one up until pyramid head showed up).
The Fatal Frame games.
Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth.
You can probably predict the pattern by now.
For some reason I keep buying horror themed games compulsively, but as soon as I fire them up (usually a few minutes after the introductory scenes), I freak out and panic quit.
The problem is that I often like the story and concept behind horror themed games, but I'm too much of a coward to actually play through them. So I buy them, deluding myself into thinking that I will actually get around to playing them through. In reality, I will more than likely watch a Youtube LP of the game by someone who is much braver than me and pretend that I am actually playing the game.
One day I will have the courage to face my fears and finish the games which are now haunting me... one day.

all my games. all 1 billion of them.
but the one that bothers me the most, is skyrim and dragons dogma, becuase i paid full price for one and nearly full price for the other. i should play at least 15 hours in each to get my moneys worth.
the way i look at it is this, a movie ticket if you get it at the right time of day and not 3D, is 6 bucks in the part of california i live in. thats about 1.5 hours of entertainment. so for every 6 bucks you spend, you should get at least 1.5 hours out of a game. any less, and you might as well just spend your money on something more worthy.
ultima 4 is one of the few games i got my moneys worth out of. ...something of a joke there, it was free. none the less, i play it a lot more then all my other games!!
