Delixe: Is this a good time to point out Bruce Willis is a ghost? :p

Yeah they can be annoying I once knew a guy who found it impossible to keep his mouth shut. He would often go to movies as soon as they were out sometimes even going alone then would get on the phone to everyone and spoil it.
Damnit dude, see what the OP is talking about?

I mean holy shit dude, thanks a lot for at least not marking it as a spoiler post. Sheesh.

P.S. I haven't seen the movie you're talking about but I know from what I've heard about it that its the one you're referring to. (that and I think I remember some Adam Sandler movie having accidental spoilers in it somewhere about the movie too).

From what I've heard though, internet mods on gaming sites especially have it hard with spoilers, especially modding posts that deliberately are trying to spoil something for everyone.

Well, at least the OP had the word "Spoilers" in the thread title, so we can't say we haven't been warned. ;)

Yes I know, but I didn't know we'd be talking about "specific" spoilers cus then that would defeat the purpose of the point that the OP was trying to get across. Borderline hypocrosy, can't assume that because a movie's famous that everyone has already seen it yet.

Tell me about it. I moderate on a gaming forum and it's a nightmare, especially just after a game release. Especially when you get douchebags that deliberately make a major spoiler as a thread title.

As for my experiences, I don't let it bother me too much, although I hate it when my kids' friends spoil things for them. For myself though, I agree with what someone earlier said: if the movie/book is good, spoilers aren't going to completely ruin the experience (but it is nice to have that extra 'wow' factor of not knowing ahead of time).

Is it just me or are the Bioboards really bad for that? It seems like some pricks race through the game so they can post as many spoilers as possible.

You've been saved from seeing the most overrated POS movie to have been hyped since Avatar. You should be thanking him.

Yeah, the DA2 release really brought out the worst in some people.

Like the developers?

Oh, ZING!
Spoilers never upset me, but Fight Club would definetly have been less interesting if I knew the ending all along.

Say what you like about DA2 the way some of the brats behaved on the boards there was a disgrace. Imagine every single thread with a plot spoiler in it ALL IN CAPS.

Since? Um, The Sixth Sense is kind of older than Avatar....

I was only joking. Actually I see your point, I'm kind of glad someone else already had spoilt that movie for me before, so it was no big deal when I read it here. :D

Yes, but we're working backwards here. What a twist!
For a new/strange approch to the whole spoiler/twist storytelling, I can recommend the book "Never let me go" from Kazuo Ishiguro.

While the whole story also has a "spoiler twist" so to say, it is alluded to from the start. Anaybody with at least a bit of imagination can figure out what it's all about For the whole time you have this nagging feeling inside you, but nobody really spells it out till the end. Then, when the hammer drops, it still blows you away, even though you expected it all along.

But the this feeling really builds up inside you through the pages, hard to describe. But a great read. Aparently a movie has been made, but I haven't seen it yet...

Yeah, that's the guy I had in mind when I posted previously. Seriously, I don't understand the vehemence and the complete butthurt some of those people were slinging around there. Sure, I understand not liking the game (hell, I don't like the game), but why try to ruin it for everyone else?
