kalirion: All right, if we don't get an Atari game by the end of the day, I think we can safely say something went wrong with the deal.

Probably running into trouble with getting them to work. Master of Magic especially doesn't like dos-box without a lot of fine tuning (for my computer anyways).

kalirion: Well seeing as they released Syberia2 today, I would deffinately say something is wrong. I can't imagine them releasing any other new games today Atari or not.

barap: Please be patient: next Tuesday Amerzone will be available. And only after that GOG.com can give us some Atari games. I assume that on 15th of of April we will have the very opportunity to finally buy Outcast game.

At this point, unless we hear an official word from GOG, I really doubt it. You don't announce a new publisher and 3 upcoming games and then wait 3 weeks before following up.

Works great on mine - all I have to do is give it enough cycles (auto/3000 is not nearly enough).

I can safely say they're coming soon (not today soon, but soon). Calm down.

I do not understand you people...
Official words: The hit games will be added to the GOG.com catalogue throughout April
and you are talking as it was the 30th today...
They can easily add those games between 23 and 30th. Where did you read that games must me added in first days of April?
Regards

The last week of April would mean "the end of April". Throughout generally means well throughout the whole month and can and usually means from beginning to end. One quarter of the month is now gone.
Good communication goes a long way with a business and their customers. If you are going to hype something then at least try and keep people informed and up to date.
It was hyped at a CD Projekt general corporate reporting event, NOT a specific Good Old Games event.
Anyway, can we all please just resemble adults and show a modicum of patience? Good lord, people. You won't die without an Atari game.
I think the problem is that we expected something along the vivendi month, where every release day was a classic sierra game. Perhaps a more clear announcement should have been in order.
True, a status update would be most appreciated. Maybe there is a hitch :) Anyway we wait patiently at least till the end of april. Moo+moo2+mom package there will be I hope.
I am also a big fan of Total Annihilation (would even buy TA: K if it appears here) and MOO / MOO2 (Unfortunately MOO3 was completely unplayable - for me ;-) ).
taking the time to get MOO and Outcast to work properly is better than rushing them out the door without addressing well known bugs (which both have) ala Interstate 76.

This.
Stop bitching, people. The three initial titles will be here, soon.
Hey folks, mentioned this in another thread -- the reason we announced the Atari deal early is to coincide with the CD Projekt conference at the end of March. We're still prepping the games and will start to release them as soon as we have everything approved and ready to go.

Good to have an official word on this, thanks!
I hope Outcast does get a release. It's an amazing game which actually still runs fine in Windows 7 without much tweaking needed but it deserves some fresh attention and then maybe I may feel like replaying it again :p (I'm going through my uncompleted GOG games at the moment).
