GOG ruled out the possibility of the D&D games coming to GOG some time before this announcement. In fact it was that which made me think that Atari must be on their way here.

So no Baldur's Gate games? Too bad.
Does anyone think Alone in the Dark is a possibility?

Should be. I just hope they aren't under the impression that the newer, less competent games are the ones that will sell the best. After all that's what Ubisoft seem to think.

I don't think GOG ruled it out, we actually did that in our speculative discussions of what might eventually come to GOG. The current legal quagmire that is the D&D license is public knowledge and based on that, we all pretty much decided that it was extremely unlikely that we would see any D&D titles here in the near future, but I don't remember anyone from GOG confirming that.

cogadh: I don't think GOG ruled it out,

In an interview they mentioned how the legal battle between WotC and Atari makes it near impossible for the D&D games to be made available through GOG.
The only official response I've personally seen from GOG on the issue was in an interview, where they acknowleged the difficulty in acquiring the rights to sell the games. I think it might have been the same interview where different pricing options were mentioned, but I could be mistaken.
Saying it might be difficult right now and outright ruling out the possibility of it ever happening are two completely different things. I think we all know that as long as there are legal issues it won't happen, but once those are resolved, there will be no real roadblock preventing them from coming to GOG, assuming that whomever ends up with the license is willing to put the games up on GOG.
Hello!
I´m the webmaster of OUTCAST-Spain. A spanish site dedicated entirely to this jewel of game, called 'Outcast'. I hope that on Tuesday, we should turn all to Adelpha ... to feel something similar to what I felt in 1999 and when I saw ' Pandora ' the satellite of the movie ' AVATAR '.
Will it be possible this?
My website on 'Outcast', for if someone have got curiosity:

Has there been any progress regarding Gog releasing European Air War?

nwn2 + expansions would be handy. Can't find the damn things anywhere (for a decent price that is)
I'd really like to know if we can expect more Atari games anytime soon. I've not yet had my fill.
