Hello,

I wish to apologize to the entire GOG forum/community, sincerely, for my behavior on this board of late, and in general for acting like a right wanker at every chance. If you have run into myself on these forums in the last few months or so, I will probably have offended you directly or indirectly, and I do apologize (*really*) for that. Without wishing to make any excuses for my inappropriateness, most of it was venting for unrelated reasons and I really have nothing personal against anyone on this forum (yep, even console gamers).

I really do like old games, and I do wish to contribute positively to the GOG Community & forum, and so if I have offended you I apologize sincerely, and I do promise from now on to behave in a courteous and polite manner on these boards. So as a token of my sincerity I thought I would give away a copy of Darklands, one of the greatest RPGs of all time, for someone who would like it. So just send me a message with your email so I can gift it and it's yours.

Not to deflate your bubble or anything, but I think it's safe to say 99% of GOGers (myself included) hadn't noticed.

You can quietly change your behavior next time without creating a thread about it and most GOGers will be equally quietly grateful.

I think it is very nice of you to apologize. Not really necessary, since I've seen worse than your posts. You just seemed very tense and irritable. That sometimes makes people say too agressive or even offensive things. But I can very much relate to 'real world stress' carrying over into the internet. Or even being specifically vented on the internet - it's such a convenient platform for that!
So, no harm done. Great that you realized that you were too irritable and thank you for the giveaway. Darklands deserves to be promoted! (I already have it)

I think most people didn't really care for your posts (as far as I know). I can admit that I raised an eyebrow when looking at some of the posts you've made, but for the most part I shrugged it off and didn't care.

Nice apology. Don't recall seeing anything too out of line (or anything any more out of line than anyone else's posts). Heck, gamers tend to have a tendency to get carried away as well as exuberantly taking pro and con positions concerning any number of topics. But if you feel you have stepped over the line, your well written and apparently heartfelt apology deserves my +1.
