I had one 2 nights ago. I helped someone else kill 2 people, both by hanging. I felt a sense of fascination at how easy it was with 2 people working at it, and at the feeling of ending 2 lives. No idea what my motivation was in the dream...it was my mission as an accomplice with someone else, he was the one in charge, and I was already helping him when the dream started. Although I was calm about it in the dream, I woke up a little shaken about my thoughts & feelings in the dream.

Then last night & dreamed I was visiting a friend at college (he hasn't actually been at college in over 15 years), and I witnessed a young girl getting hit by a car. I told the nearest person to call 9-1-1 (I didn't have my cell phone in the dream). She died on the scene after the ambulance arrived, and although I didn't know who she was it turned out she was either a friend/relative of another friend of mine & for some reason it was up to me to notify that friend face-to-face.

Weird shit. The 2nd one, at least I was trying to do the right thing. That first one, that's a little bothersome.

I had dreams where I was eaten alive by puppets.

Does that make any better?

Dreams don't mean shit. They're the unstructured garbage that the brain gets rid of in order to organize itself better. Which is why pink potato mash platypuses are more widespread in dreamland than in real-land.

Yeah, murder and being murdered. But more sudden and fatal violence. Nothing quite that detailed.

A guy. Lets call him bob, heats up the verbal fight and since we are all armed a real fight might happen.
He is being a huge prick, most cliche asshole.

I shot him in the head with a shotgun. Point blank. Feel warm blood hitting my face, bones flying away hitting everything around, a huge thud when body hits the marble floor.

tell everyone to shut the f up as that it is not the time to be fighting each other.

My personal philosophy on dreams is somewhere in the middle...sometimes it means something because its on your mind, other times its just random crap.

I have been going through alot lately, so I'm putting these in the "got stuff on my mind" section. Should be interesting to see if I get another dream involving death tonight.

It probably stress related.

I usually have dreams where I re-enact torture scenes from 24, me being Jack Bauer and the victim usually someone I really loathe. In particular, I (fondly) remember those dreams where I rasp menacingly in the victim's face "Look at my eyes, and tell me that I'm lying when I say I will kill you and your friends in the worst possible way."

Oh wait. Murder? Not that I can recall!

Plenty of wierd dreams though.

One of the common ones that I'd never had before was of teeth falling out. But the other night, I dreamt that they all were loose, and one by one I pulled them out! Kinda freaky.

I dream I am murdered constantly. That, and I have urges to kill everyone around me. Guess group therapy is going to hear about this...

Can't recall ever murdering in a dream. Last night I had a weird one where I was in the army, but got thrown out for failing an IQ test (too low! - really). That's as close as I've come to a combatant in a dream.

However I do believe that dreams are very close representations of our physical and mental state at the time. I remember dreaming of being kicked repeatedly, and the kicks felt very real, sharp stabbing pains with each impact. Then I was bleeding heavily, and my dream was all about blood. When I woke I noticed some blood on my sheets, I had opened up a cut on my finger while tossing and turning (not a comfy sleeper). My mind had interpretted the pain as the being kicked, and the bleeding as all the blood everywhere. In short (and I know this wasn't), I think your mind is trying to tell you something quite obvious, either about an anxiety, a pain, or a weight on your mind.

Or you just really want to kill someone.

I don't have dreams where I'm actually commiting murder in them. However I I do have tons of dreams where I have dead bodies in my basement, or I know I have killed somebody in the past and am worried about being found out. I had one of those just last night. In the dreams I know the death is some kind of "accidental" murder, where I didn't have any hostile feelings toward that person, but I somehow murdered them anyway



This past year I have been having a lot of dreams about the old TV show Three's Company, where I am in the studio audience watching the final dream version episode of the show. in the dream I am really depressed watching it, because I know the characters Jack and Mr Ferley are going to end up dead by the time the show is over

Seriously though, I do die quite a lot in my dreams. They're pretty strange deaths too. A couple involved getting shot at point-blank range; a couple of them being ripped apart by monsters; another one I got killed by the burning acid that a monster spat at me; a couple where I was being chased by several gangsters or something and in the end I couldn't run anymore because it felt like my legs were turning into jelly, then I get murdered; one where I got microwaved to death (don't ask, I don't remember much); and a couple where I died from radiation poisoning due to a nuke going off a few miles out. And that's just the ones I remember.

On the other hand, I also have GTA-style sprees where I'm running people over with my car and whatnot. Thankfully I've only had those types of dreams maybe twice.

I also have many happy dreams too, but unfortunately almost all of them are forgotten as soon as I wake up. I only know I've had those dreams because this feeling that something wonderful had just occurred - and it drives me mad the rest of the day because I can never remember what that wonderful thing was.
