Seeing the time to act, Vir rushes forward towards the robed figures, aiming towards their leader. He Levitates himself as he charges, appearing to launch to his target like an arrow.

OOC: S*** just got real.

Robed (Leader) quickly moves aside as you charge.

You are now hovering 5 feet in the air, making you very tough to target for melee damage.

OOC: S*** just got real.
LOL

Remaining turns:
Arkades: up to 2 and act

stoicsentry: Lucas uses Whirlwind (Improved): 5 damage to Robed (3), 9 damage to Robed (4), 7 damage to Robed (Leader).

Robed (Leader): 47/60

The arrow slices through the air, hitting the knee of your target. 7 damage. HP totals above are accurate.
OOC: Does that mean Robed (Leader) is regenerating HP?

OOC: I should really triple check before I say the word accurate shouldn't I? NOW it's accurate (14 total damage). Sorry, I had a whole bunch of numbers running around, depending on when you got to the scene of the battle (if ever), so I got a bit lost. It's all good now. Thanks for the correction.

OOC: Ah, ok. It would've been kind of cool if he/she/it was regenerating, though - if we weren't trying to kill he/she/it =P

They do have healing powers, I'm sure they'll use 'em. :)
OOC: Going to bed (2:30 am here), if/when Arkades shows up, feel free to move/act on my behalf; Phil will most likely keep shooting at Robed (Leader) while keeping a distance. If less than 10 HP, maybe retreat to Hide (and possibly try sneak attack). See you later =)
Arkades pointed directly at the robed leader, narrowing his eyes. "For your sins, the Light has judged you unworthy! Be cursed by the Holy Illumination and walk in the darkness you have sought to serve!"

Arkades casts curse on robed leader.

Kale hesitates, then repeats, "Hold your fire against the cult! Attack their enemies!"

Seeing a flummoxed face on one of the newcomers (Vir, Arkades, Lucas or Phil), he adds, "No time to explain, just do it!"

OOC: *goes back to reread thread again* I am so horribly confused at this point.

Runehamster: OOC: *goes back to reread thread again* I am so horribly confused at this point.
OOC: LOL. No problem. A brief summary:

1. You meet with Kalix (little girl) and Kale (little boy) in the forest. They lead a contingent of children who survived the battle with the primitives in Northport.

2. They tell you of the "monkey cult" (their words, not mine :P) and explain that it is responsible for the deaths of their remaining parents.

3. You agreed to lead an assault team against the cult compound to the northeast.

4. Phil arrives first, as 3 cult members appear to be leaving the compound.

5. Kalix and Kale trail behind (with their units of child soldiers)

6. Lucas and Phil track the 3 cult members to the scene of the battle, where other cult members are engaged with "barbarians." The 3 cult members aforementioned join the fighting, helping their comrades.

7. Kalix and Kale, realizing that the cult compound is abandoned, follow Phil towards the battle (for they hear the sound of sword fighting as well, and assume you are engaged in a battle with the cult.)

8. You all attack the cult members at the scene of the battle.

9. Kalix and Kale arrive with their units, assess the situation, and request that you cease your assault on the cult and fight the "barbarians" instead.

Hope that helps?

Remaining turns:
Arkades - up to 2/act
Phil - up to 3/act
Vir - up to 1/act

OOC: Umm...a bit? If the cult is using attack monkeys but the kids are worried about the barbarians, someone must be seriously confused. Unless they're Southern Baptist monkey cultists, and they're fighting over the church music.

OOC: *Shrug* It's up to you. You can always keep attacking the cult if you like. Nothing in the rulebooks says you can't break promises to kids. Or, you could just sit back and watch what happens. Up to you to judge the situation. :)
