Exile has short-term memory loss. For the next 4 turns, each of his skills/spells/attacks will have an additional 25% chance of failure. (In addition to any other bonuses to evasion that Vir is getting from Cloak of the Chameleon and Levitation)

Hold for next turn.

OOC: To be honest, I had no idea what Brainwash would do except in a limited range of scenarios. Thanks.

OOC: Sure thing. I endeavor to make all skills/spells relevant in all situations insofar as it is possible. I'm not necessarily sure that "Brainwash" is the appropriate name for the spell, given its description. "Stupefy" or something like that probably fits it better.

But that's a matter for another day.

In the mean time, I think *this* effect makes sense given the spell's description, which is: make a target forget recent events. So in essence what's happening here is that every time Exile takes a turn, he's got to try and remember why he's here and what he's supposed to be doing. By the time he remembers, he may not have enough time to cast his spell or launch an attack... thus the chance for failure.

Does exile have any spells more powerful then fireall? if so give it a try otherwise firball time.

You can check them out on his character sheet on page 1.

He has a lot of spells, though it's not laid out just how powerful anything is, but he can do a lot of different things with his spells...

Fireball is probably your best bet here, though, because it has an area-of-effect.... thus getting around Vir's current evasion bonuses.

Exile casts Fireball.

Rolling for spell failure... no. Spell succeeds!

Once again, Vir dodges the main part of the assault but still takes 4 damage from the Fireball's area-of-effect.

RED TEAM

Vir: 16/44 (Cloak of the Chameleon: 5 turns - difficult to hit, Levitating - difficult to hit with Melee attacks - 2 turns)

BLUE TEAM

Exile: 48/53 (Brainwashed - +25% chance of skill/spell/attack failure) - 3 turns)

OOC: It won't effect the damage results, but are you staying in place or moving into his square?
