Leh Dzebo

"Sorry fellas, but I can't stay awake anymore.." Leh said with a tired voice. "I'm gonna have to get some sleep"

Exile silently stepped outside the cave, to watch over the area. He wasn't one to sleep, and Hero wasn't here to watch his back. "I'll keep watch as well"
Kamelion rolled 10/13---Druidry.

Kamelion's mind stretched out across the forest. Several times he felt his brain sting, for there is powerful magic at work in the area that resists his efforts. In the end, his willpower is strong enough to overcome it, but he has lost 20HP in the process.

He now sees through the eyes of an owl perched atop a tree in the grove. He can control his movements.

HP update:

Lucas: 60-10 = 50
Kamelion: 105-20 = 85
Jack: 100
Zaranak: 55-10 = 45
Exile: 100-10 = 90
Leh: 100

Kamelion, Druidry, borrowing, laying down Kamelion uses his mind to search out a nearby creature like a bird or wolf. Having found one he overlays his mind with that of the creature. Allowing him to see though it's eyes and steer it's actions.
You may control the owl if you wish.

OOC: @Kamelion: you were attempting to control the animal while lying asleep or after you slept???
Would like to search the owls mind for knowledge of the surrounding area and if there's any useful herbs nearby. Then would like to fly around the area having a look around and go hunting.

OOC: Imagined my body would go into a death like trance while borrowing. So while I was lying down to go to sleep.

OOC: That's what I thought, just making sure. New story post soon.
OOC: looking forward to it
Kamelion rolled a 5/13 - Druidry.

The owl reveals to you the location of a Smond tree within the groves. When consumed, the red leaves of the tree grant a temporary bonus to mental focus. Your path should take you right past this tree when you enter the groves, no need to plot the course.

The owl only found small game, of little nutritional value.

The number of party members who chose to stay on guard was enough to frighten off any potential attackers. You have rested for 4 hours.

Party choice:

1. Enter the Groves
2. Enter the Nog village

OOC: 2 votes to move

"I say we go to the Smond Tree," I reply as I sit down to rest a little after last night.

MrWilli: "I say we go to the Smond Tree," I reply as I sit down to rest a little after last night.
Groves: 1/2
Village: 0/2
"I say we go to the village. After that bit of rest I think I had just about enough of "Nature's blessings". I could do with some basking in my own glory as offered by the Nog" Jack quipped while brushing off the detritus that accumulated on him during the night's rest.
OOC:

Village: 1/2
He nods to Jacks words "We should go to the village. The Nogs know us well enough." The Vasar stated as he shrugs, toying with a rock that floated above his palm. One could see the tiny windstream around the stone.
OOC: It seems that playing this in a linear fashion presents some complications.

So for now, let's do it this way: I post the situation and then you can have your character react any way you want.

That INCLUDES moving the entire party, if you want, or using a skill, asking someone a question, etc.

The party has entered the Nog village called Skip. It is little more than a series of tents and campfires, but the people are friendly. Jack is known amongst the Nog, and the village happily offers them a nap and a large meal. All party members have gained 10HP.

HP update:

Lucas: 60/60
Kamelion: 95/105
Jack: 100/100
Zaranak: 55/55
Exile: 100/100
Leh: 100/100

It is only moments after dawn, plenty of travel time left for the day.

You have left the inn.

Town hall is a few hundred feet to the west.

A bridge over the River of Eternity and into the Shamanic groves is 1 KM southeast.

There is little else of interest here.

"Let's go to the Town Hall. Perhaps the Nog will either tell us how to go through the groves to avoid being harassed by the wildlife. We can ask for an escort part of the way or all the way." Jack motions for everyone to follow him as he starts off in the direction of the town hall.
