AoM Extended Edition According to the website, the re-release will be coming in May this year.
New in the Extended Edition: Steam Workshop, improved rendering engine, Twitch TV integration, enhanced observer mode, native support for Win 7/8 and HD monitors, and more!

I hope they don't overdo it. I don't want C&C 5 or StarCraft 3.

EDIT: TOO LATE! They fucked it up! I just went on their web page and they offered up this new screenshot of the boss fight against Cerberus. What a disappointment!

If the later ones are subtle then ok but I hate this trading card and achievement shit

Okay the Predator parts are kind of boring because there is no challenge, but it still ROCKS!

Looks like basically a HD reskin job + Steam crap. Original works perfectly fine in Windows 7.....

What's the draw for achievements and trading cards? You think Valve implemented that to try and attract console gamers that are used to getting trophies and stuff? Or are these things actually coveted among the greater Steam gaming community?

It's one of my favorite games, but I don't really see why it needs messing with. Last I checked I could grab it for 10$ at Target, and I don't have to worry about any Steam overhead. Kinda sounds like a downgrade to me.

I can see through your act. I know that you've got over 300 games on Steam with a gazillion achievements, and you actively sport your badges on the forums. How many trading cards do you have?

I wonder when Microsoft finally signs on with gog... will we will be able to get the original version? I don't care about twitch, achievements and all that crap... I'd prefer a version, like the original, without it.

Or will Microsoft "force" gog to sell the new one?
