misfire200: Too be fair, abobe air can get the job done. League of Legends runs off abobe air, and while it could probably be a lot better with a different system, it works and does a solid job. So if it can handle LoL then it can easily handle defendersquest which looks to be a fun game.
Pretty sure it's just the launcher that runs in adobe air.

That could be right, I know it runs while the game is running but then like 5 different programs do when its going.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Air isn't responsible for the actual graphics rendering at least. It would run at a horrible frame rate given how poorly optimised Air is.

Kingdom Rush is the way to go!

Also the iBomberDefense available on steam really cheap, along with Defender's Quest and Orcs Must Die ^^

Plants vs. Zombies...

I don't know anything about that, but it's the only game my gf is playing, and she plays it a lot... Like 100 hours already... :D So it must be good...

Defender's Quest definitely has taken it's spot as my favorite "traditional" TD. It's a TD with RPG elements, but still very traditional in TD gameplay.

Orcs Must Die! 1 and 2 are also great if you want to be a bit more active. However I will say get and beat 1 before you get 2. Story spoilers, not to mention 2 is a lot meaner. >.>
