Fellow GOGlodytes,

Recently our weekly giveaways that we've loved so much have been put on hold for various personal reasons of the kind donors. However we as a group feel that it is important that there is a regular event that just brightens a person's day. So in honour of our absent, and much regarded, weekly gifters, a group you may now know as "The Sigil" have decided to hold a weekly giveaway for all to enter.

A simple throw your hat in, a $10 game of your choice if you win.

Sachys has kindly agreed to manage this process, and ensure that the winners get their codes. It may take a bit longer than with the other giveaways simply to co-ordinate it.

About recipes... behold the awesomeness of the crepes with shrimps! Sorry if this is in Italian, but it's the only recipe I found that matches exactly how I cook them! :)

Actually I had an italian girlfriend for many years and ran an Italian restaurant for a time too... so I reckon I can manage. :)

Just don't ask me to converse... thats where my failing lays! Heheh.

I am in :)!

I can't just post a link to a favourite recipe, because: (1) I make up most of my own recipes and/or modify whatever recipe I may find; and (2) I enjoy everything I cook so I can't pick a favourite!

However, here is what I had last night:
Chili Bamboo Pork
- 200g mince pork
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 tsp minced ginger
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/4c soy sauce (estimated, I just pour it in and don't measure)
- 120g chili bamboo shoots (comes in a glass jar, this amount is 1/3 of a jar. It can be bought from an asian grocery store, or even the asian section of Walmart where I live)
- rice

Cook pork, garlic, and ginger until fully cooked, breaking up lumps. Add soy, sugar, bamboo and simmer ~10mins. Serve on rice.
