Best DOS game... too many to choose! Ah, the days of trying to strip your memory to the bone because some damn game you just bought required 600k to run. Can't tell you how many software developers I cursed to the pits of Tartaros for eternity. I remember one game required, I believe, 615k to run. Couldn't load windows, couldn't load ANYTHING.

One of my favorite RPGs of all time. Used the Bard's Tale III engine, but with a better auto-map. I loved how if you made a mistake, or a poor decision, it could have catastrophic ramifications. The game could still be played and won... but there were no fewer than THREE cities/areas you could utterly and permanently destroy if you messed up.
