i couldn't find a thread about this topic, so i apologize if this is already in circulation:

but i purchased the pay what you want (99 cents) bundle of games in the interplay giveaway, and i gotta tell you those 8 games are well worth the investment.

except for shattered steel, that game is like pulling teeth.

and kingdom works on win 7 for me, maybe not for you but it does for me.

lots of intertainment hours in these gems!

and evolva sucks.

Special Promo: Pay What You Want for Interplay Games

BTW, you could have paid 1 penny if you wanted to...
It's a much better deal if you beat the average. I bought it for $12 and apparently saved $107. It has better games overall too, imo.

thanks, and perhaps gog will refund me my 98 cents...lol. probably not.
I must say, once I got into Evolva, I really enjoyed it. Felt really organic in terms of gameplay, as if the solutions you developed were not necessarily those that the devs intended. I know in hindsight that this wasn't the case, but the fact that the game gave you that impression speaks volumes for it.
Great offer and no doubt there's some great games in there. But the gift thing for games you already own totally sucks. They should have substituted games from the next package.
eg: if you own M.A.X + M.A.X 2 you get, say, Descent 3 instead (or whatever), you get the picture.

True that, although the price for the ave tier continues to rise, $13.58 now.

I also purchased the mid-tier at $12, even though I already had 12 of the 20 titles. It was still a great deal at $1.50/title-I-didn't-have.
Technically its 8 interplay games for as low as $0.01 if you're that stingy.

I think the value depends on the gamer, not the retail value. If, for example, you spend $40 to buy the whole package but only like one game, then you've spent $40 for a single game... sounds like a bad deal to me. If however you like all the games, then $1 per game is an amazing deal. How much money you save off retail price (or GOG price) is immaterial IMO.

My only quibble with their game arrangement is why Descent 3 is part of the mid tier offer, but Descent 1+2 are part of the top tier offer. Wouldn't 3 be better than 1 or 2, and so should be offered at a higher tier? Seems odd to me.

Well yeah. I was talking purely monetary value, but most of the games I was interested in (that weren't in the third tier) were in the second tier anyway.

The slider only goes down to $0.99. That's the minimum you'd have to pay. Unless you can edit the amount at checkout or PayPal, (I haven't tried; nothing I want from the first tier, and second/third tier is way too much to pay when there's only one game that interests me.)

Click the price on the promo screen. You can type in your own custom amount.

Like with the Divinity promo, you can click on the price and type in whatever you want on the promo page. They may have a limit as to how high a price you can input, though.
$2500 is the max limit.
I paid $3 for just Shattered Steel. XD

I like mech games but didn't enjoy that one.

I might get tier 1 since I don't have Screamer, Evolva, Kingdom, or VR Soccer.
