Great idea.

I'm unsure but in with Barman Arkham Asylum, Entomorph, Lone Survivor, and The Cat Lady.

justanoldgamer: Battle Isle 3
History Line 1914-1918
Incubation
Incubation: The Wilderness Mission
That;s pretty ambitious! It recently took me almost 2 weeks to get through History Line alone, and I have no other life. Those games take a long time.

Grargar: And you can blame Google Translate for the single or double t.
Google Translate has nothing to do with it actually ;) This problem is far older then it, heck, even much older then the Internet. Latin is a dead language that is very much alive as somebody said. Hence nobody can be sure of anything. If you try to compare it with other Latin-descending languages you will find that Spanish word for cat is "gato" which may suggest that "catus" is a proper form. If you, however, check Italian it will turn out it's "gatto" which obviously point to "cattus". And since we don't have any native speaking Latin user to ask about it we have no choice but to accept both form. It's even worse with the pronunciation but... I think I'm seriously derailing this thread, sorry for that guys! Good luck with your four games!
I'll participate with Medieval 2: Total War, Assassin's Creed 2 and Max Payne (second playthrough) for PC and spice it up with Boogerman: A Pick and Flick Adventure for SMD2 (Genesis).
Won't push it to hard but I already have nice progress so it should be doable.
That is very ambitious, would you settle for one play through of a Beta with only half the content.
Wasteland 2...soon I will accomplish that feat. If I can do it before they add the additional content.
Ok, let's try it:

The Witcher
To the Moon
Cognition - Episode 1 (does it count as one game?)
Hotline Miami

Should be doable. I'm also playing DROD 1 at the moment, but I assume that it will take me longer than a month to complete this.
Kind of a hard one. I usually don't like playing games I could finish 4 in one month. But since I just started Final Fantasy Tactics 1.3, I choose that. I'm probably not going to get that one finished as I'm already stuck in the fourth battle.
It is just a self inflicted challenge, so whatever you want to do is up to you.

One of the writers for Joystiq thought this up a few years ago, it would be nice to claim credit but it wasn't me; I just think it is an awesome idea and promote it whenever it comes around.

Last year was an abysmal failure for me as I didn't finish a single game, both Alice and TL2 were on my list last year too. I let myself get detracted playing a MMO and never finished a single game.

That is why I made sure to pick things that were actually do able.

I'm nearly done with Strike Suit Zero, mission 11 out of 13; not going for any sort of completionist goal with it, normal difficulty and no fuxks given about perfect mission scores, simply beating the games is a big enough issue on its own.
I've already got one down this month, Hitman: Contracts. But the problem is, at the moment I only have one other game in my current backlog: Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened which is a game I might not even like. Well, I guess I'm gonna try that and not to worry about the contest too much. Perhaps I'll get other games along the month too. And, as is apparent, backlog's not a really a problem for me which I guess is the reason why the whole 4 for February thing exists :) (Btw. I finished seven games in January...head start? http://www.gog.com/forum/general/games_finished_in_2014/post56)
IIRC a lot of fun was had last year with this. I will definitely be in again. I will edit this post when I get home so I can determine which games I will attempt.
Do game already in progress count? Cause I wouldn't like to drop them and play something else.

Anyway:
1. Assassin's Creed 4 - in progress
2. Borderlands 2 - 1st playthrough co-op - in progress
3. Broken Age
4. Aarklash Legacy
5. Crysis 2
6. Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons

Finished Strike Suit Zero.

I got the shitty ending, but I don't feel like flying down a hall for 10 minutes .... again.
This is an interesting challenge so to speak. Some of the games people have mentioned above such as To The Moon and Portal are good candidates because they both are doable in a day or two. Sadly I've completed those already. :) I haven't yet played Portal 2, but I wanted to finish the Portal 1 bonus levels/challenges before starting Portal 2. Hrm... I don't think anyone is going to put any of the AD&D games on their lists...

I'll have to think about this one a bit but one thing that comes to mind is completing the remaining games in the Blackwell Bundle. I finished the first game of the set only, and have 3 more to go through. Those games only take a day or two to play through if memory serves correct. Hmm, yeah I think I'll have to ponder this one a bit. :)
Okay i'll play along ;)

1) Castlevania: Lords of Shadow
2) Siren: Blood Curse
3) Epic Mickey
4) Alone in the Dark: The new nightmare.

I played the first few levels of castlevania 2 days ago and chapter 1 and 2 (of 12) of Siren yesterday but since that was already february, I think they count ;)
I decided to go with:

1) XCOM: UFO Defense (The original game)
2) Tomb Raider: Unfinished Business Expansion Pack
3) Still Life 2
4) Blackwell Unbound
