foxworks: It's only 200 games for the flash sale. 700 games are 50% off now until June 30th ;-)

JMich: Thread was actually started in December of 2012 to archive the game images used for that sale. Seems that in this sale they are used for the Flash sales instead of a showcase, so it did have the side effect of giving us a good glimpse at the flash sales.
No idea about the DLCs though, those do seem to be the odd game out, and also curious about Banished. There is the possibility that one day won't have daily bundles, but daily games, I think this was the case last sale.

Why put a game in the flash sale that's only 50% off? Does that mean it will not be on sale at all after it is done in the flash sale?

Jazzpunk seems to be just 25% off outside of Flash, and Moebius: Empire Rising isn't discounted except in a Flash sale. There are a few others like that as well, though I don't know if there are any besides Moebius which are solely discounted in Flash. Outlast: Whistleblower will be one, if it ever shows.

EDIT: And there's another good example right above this post. :)

Sir You Are Being Hunted and Street Fighter Alpha 2. Not sure what else might not have an ongoing discount outside flash deal....
