LynetteC: So because l already paid up previously, l don't get a code that I can trade/give away later? (Considering the number of Duke Nukem, Torchlight and Witcher gift codes still floating around.) I also own American Nightmare so I stand to miss out twice! :-(

HypersomniacLive: I think that gift codes are disabled only for folks that don't already own the game from before, we'll find out soon enough with Still Life 2 though. :-)
That we will. I'll be hitting the 'Free' button in the hopes of scoring some more BBBBoB content! Speaking of which, have you had a chance to try out Dragon Lore yet? :-)
Starting countdown, less than a minute now.

Aaaaand here...we... go!

edit: I am now the proud owner of still life 2

Likewise, a gift code here as well. Good deal, we can have another run of "if you missed the freebie" give-and-get threads.

So the mistery now, is which one will be next, banished or... what's the other one?

the list is/was:

Alan Wake's American Nightmare
Banished
Omerta: City of Gangsters Gold Edition
Outlast: Whistleblower DLC
Still Life 2
Torchlight

Alan Wake's American Nightmare & Torchlight are the most likely remaining freebies

Heh, the Omerta requests are already stacking up. :)

Thank you GOG!
it's almost a shame that they're not all gift codes, I choose to pass on so many of the freebies and so many people miss out

Probably.

LeSigh, I really wanted it to be banished.

Also, I'm thinking, that we might not get a repeat of all the bundles in the 29th but rather a second adrenaline rush day.

Oh well, the deponia and broken sword bundles are waiting.

In past promos GOG did not prevent people from taking extra copies although it isn't clear if they intended for people to do so or not. But as they learned - people were grabbing dozens of codes and selling them elsewhere for profit. That isn't acceptable of course and the only way to really prevent it is to not give away an endless supply of free codes but to limit it to the account of the person wanting the freebie.

They don't owe anyone anything though, and if they decide to give 1 copy of something to one person, they can do that and nobody else is entitled to anything. Kindness and generosity of GOG or any other company should be taken for what it is and whoever benefits should feel happy about that, and whoever doesn't get something should feel good for the people that did and not feel entitled to something free or feel negatively toward the companies in question because they didn't get something too.

Everything is amazing and nobody is happy :)

Been too busy with the sale. ;-P

On a serious note - have some really annoying bureaucratic stuff to take care that's consuming most of my time these days and until the end of the month, plus I avoid downloading my games during sales, it's in my top 3 to play come July though. ;-)

Thanks once again for the gift! :-)

Think the Giveaways will be back around after they go through the first cycle? People are so impatient...

Got the game on the first try, maybe a gift code if they come around again?

Time will tell!
