only downside for me in Red Baron is my joystick (was a good one back in the day, a thrustmaster I think) is in the shed at my ex's. I haven't seen it in YEARS.

I'm pretty sure i damned near NEEDED a Joystick on those old flight sims.

(knights of the Sky was the other WWI one... always wished those two had meshed, loved fighting against the ace challenges in KoTS)
seems like I didn't come across many of the aces in RB.. Think i killed Georges Guynemer once, but maybe my memory fails me. I do know they 'died" normally if you never got them first in the campaign

Ixamyakxim: Is this the air-whale build your blimp sort of Minecraft with quests? I was curious on release day a few months back but yes the reports of bugs were pretty immediate and said to detract from the game quite a bit. Bummer :(

Coelocanth: Yeah, that's the one. I checked out the game forum and found This Thread that's only 3 days old. Doesn't make me want to buy, so leaving it on the wishlist for now and I'll wait and see if they fix it up a bit.
If you wait, when it is all polished and shiny, it may not cost $5 as it is now

Edit: I check the thread and yes it is wiser to wait as there is no promised that it will be patch up. Sorry

Duly noted ;-)
I'm still waiting for Neverwinter Nights collection to appear on Flash Sale. So far so good, I haven't missed it, have I?

Technically you haven't missed it in the flash sale yet because it isn't going to be a part of the flash sale. ;o) Here is the list of all the games in the flash sale's rotation. If a game isn't on this list, as far as we are aware it will not show up in the flash sales at all.

http://birdiesoft.dk/summersale.php

All of the D&D games were a part of a daily deal bundle on the first day of the sale however, and GOG usually does one or two days of encore sales throughout these big seasonal sales promotions. June 18th and June 29th are looking promising as being possible sale mega-repeat days but that is just speculation at this point, although it would match their past sales strategies and evidence suggests that they might be doing it again as usual. Note however that to get the highest discount in the bundle deal you have to buy (or own) all of the other games that are a part of the bundle which includes all 10 D&D games in the catalogue for $21.40 or so minus any games you already own on GOG.com.

Hope this helps!

21.40? o.o Well that's exceeding my available funds. Hopefully they can do higher discount sometimes in the future for individual Neverwinter.

Thanks for the info.

Not sure of the breakdown but the games are $1.99 each and there are 10 of them. One of them might be $0.40 more or something like that perhaps. Great price per game for these old D&D classics. They come on sale often though both as a group and individual titles for roughly the same 75-80% discount. Also, they're giving a free copy of Neverwinter to anyone who buys The Witcher 3 preorder so there will probably be a lot of copies of it floating around in giveaways and whatnot between now and Feb 2015. If you miss out during the summer sale, don't worry there will be a zillion opportunities to pick it up over time at $2 or free anyway. :)
This may not be the thread for it, but I really urge anyone that has a passing interest in Knock-knock or Pathologic to pick them up. Knock-knock is definitely one of the strangest games to come out this past year, and Pathologic is simply one of those strange gaming artifacts that you'll rarely come across. If you want a very unique experience, you can't go wrong with either one of them.

My only warning? They're a little dry, the translations aren't perfect, and they require some patience, but they're absolutely worth it. Also, maybe we could get The Void and Cargo! The Quest for Gravity over here if we show interest, other greatly unusual games worth your time if you're fond of games that make you wonder how they ever got released (in a positive way).
Damn book of unwritten tales finally appears. I wonder if Whispered World is finally going to resurface. I've been waiting since the sale started for it to come back around damn it I better not miss it again.

I put knock-knock on my wishlist thinking it looked fun, and interesting. I walked away from my computer. Looked out the window for a couple seconds. Then came back in and bought it a minute later lol.

So if I wanted Neverwinter Nights 2 I should buy it when it is at 7.99 (as it was the first day. It is 9.99 now) instead of waiting because that is as low as it will get?

Same boat as you. Too bad being part of a bundle means no flash sale for you.

The D&D bundle will more than likely surface again so I would wait as you should be able to get it at a better discount then.

If you don't want to wait, then yeah that's probably the best you'll get in short order for the one game alone. You might be able to make arrangements with someone in one of the trading forums to trade for it though too if you have any tradeables. Sometimes people pick up extra copies of these gems just for that.

The D&D titles most often come on sale as a group of all 10 games though, usually 50% off for one title, and something like 80% off if you buy all the ones you don't own already, or an increasing discount between those two depending on how many of them you grab at once. Occasionally they show up as individual sale items too for as low as 80% off too but there's no way to predict when unfortunately although it seems to be rather often. :) Here's a chart of past pricing history for that particular game on GOG:

http://isthereanydeal.com/#/page:game/price?plain=neverwinternightsiicomplete

It suggests that this sale is the lowest price yet but I could have sworn it was available for as low as $2 or so also. They don't always catch every single sale or deal on that sight flawlessly though either. :) It is a good ballpark nonetheless though. Lemme see what I paid for it when I bought it a year+ ago...

Found the reciept... April 6, 2013:
Neverwinter Nights 2: Complete $19.99
Hasbro Stacking Weekend Promo 05/04/13 - $16.00
order total: $3.99

Yeah, looks like that deal tracking site misses some promos, still a great tool though. :)
