I have them all except Desperados 2: Cooper's Revenge. That sounds so bad that I'm probably better of avoiding it, even at the bargain price.

I can't remember which title I tried it with but it was something simple IIRC. It is probably hit and miss though with random games depending on how they twiddle Direct3D and how it wraps things to their own video card. VMWare is probably the most stable reliable virtual machine solution out there in general though, so they probably have higher stability in their 3D wrapping also, but I've not tried it yet personally. Their for-pay products might have better support perhaps too, I'd have to ask a buddy of mine who is surrounded by all the VMware products day in and out what he thinks about it for 3D stuff though.

Nice to have all these things as options at least and they'll likely only get better over time too. :)

I always figured it was a case of moderate faults greatly exaggerated, for that and Helldorado both. Haven't played it, though, so can't really say, sorry.

Good man on owning the rest, though! In case you're running Win8, I wrote up a detailed guide on getting Commandos 3 to work; I think some concepts might also be applicable to Desperados 1 (DDraw instead of D3D, obv :P).

Oh boy, first time today I missed a game in a sale really (when I thought I wouldn't want to buy anything at all during the summer sale) - and then to learn it's been up 4x already. Hahaha! I'm gonna hunt you down, D2.

The great thing is, I loved the first Disciples and wasn't aware there is a second one out. Something to look forward to then.

Umm, Resurrection is in essence the expansion to Renaissance. Reincarnation contains remade versions of both Renaissance and Resurrection.
Reincarnation already contains a remade version of Resurrection.
